Thing I like about Figo's style of play is that it is so direct. It is imaginative and most of all EFFECTIVE without being showy. Don't know that I'm expressing it well, but I think comparing him to Zidane is a good way of illustrating what I'm getting at. Zidane is also a god on the pitch - no argument. But when I see him play, it's almost like the guy tries to achieve what he needs to do in the flashiest way possible. Whereas, Figo seems to size up the situation and get his job done almost ruthlessly.
