Meanwhile Trezeguet apparently stated that he did start to feel a bit of a muscular fatigue on Thursday but that it was Ranieri's and the medical staff's decision not to call him up. Ranieri had another story. According to him, "the check-up was inconclusive but Trezeguet claimed he was in pain, and we believe him".
