Uefa Champions League - Quarter Final Second Leg (April 2nd)​

2 days to go and no one has opened a match thread yet. Basically we have no injuries or suspensions but I think we have a few number of players on cautions so we have to be careful in the match.

I think this will be our lineup..

Volkan will let in a cheap goal and Edu will score his 4th own goal of the season but at the end of the day we will prevail with a 3-2 victory and shove that up Peter Kenyons ass.

haha. i'm not sure about Carlos, he didn't look 100% so i guess we'll see how that turns out. Gokhan back is a boost to our attack. It will be tough Chelsea are going to attack, I just hope Maldo, Aurelio and the defense have a great game.

Im not even worried that we may lose this game. I will head to London on tuesday and party all night even if we lose. i'll also climb the Big Ben and plant the Fenerbahce Flag on it. Make sure London will never forget our presence.

Carlos played the first half and only a small part of the second. After he was subbed he had an ice pack on his shin that was injured so no idea on how he is. Semih scored the header

Even though he wasn't 100% I'm sure he still ventured forward and was fast at recovering on onrushing attackers

Seriously, this will be a tough one. Fenerbahce haven't won an away match in Europe this season since they beat Anderlecht in the 3rd round qualifier. But they have fought hard and gotten the results they needed to progress. A draw is enough.
Once again it comes down to not letting in a goal for the first 20 minutes to calm some nerves. Fenerbahce overcame that vs. Sevilla, but so that I don't have a heartattack, can we please avoid that this time :heart:

We have a knack for making the games very hard for ourselves. First against CSKA when we had to come back from a goal down because of on own goal, also not forgetting the Sevilla matches where we had to work extra hard because of own goals / goalkeeping mistakes and the first Chelsea match where there was another own goal.

Hopefully Fenerbahçe won't do anything accidently silly again to raise all our heart rates up, I think I was gonna faint after the Sevilla clash.

Who cares what they say man , lol its not as if the final 8 clubs are overfilled with Greek clubs lol. And as for the Englishmen lol they will always be Englishmen theres not much u can change about that lol .

As for the game i can hardly wait , i just hope we get off to a positive start and keep building from there . 1-1 i hope with Kezman scoring for us .
