Hi Toni, happy new year:D
Matteo Sereni is still an Ipswich player. He's just on loan to Brescia. I'm sure Ipswich would be willing to sell though as there are a lot of money problems in the English lower divisions:(
Sereni was doing ok, then he lost his place and couldn't get it back.
I've always thought Turci was a keeper with a good reputation, he seemed to be ok when we had serie a on tv
BTW Carlo Cudicini has been fantastic for Chelsea this season:star:

Samp don't need to be signing ageing players who want to be paid top dollar. They need hungry young players, not past it mercenaries. Bierhof is a case in point, I thought he'd retired then I see him turning out for Chievo:confused:

Samp to sign Abiatti from Milan on loan, if they are promoted. Milan to get Sereni as cover for Dida.
Any truth in this one Toni?
Turci does sound like he's been a little er....inconsistent:smileani:

Hi Cerezo, I'll welcome you to the samp forum as there seems to be no one here:smileani:
Regarding Arsenal and Abbiati, I haven't heard about that one. They were being linked with Robinson from Leeds, Turkish keeper Rustu and Seb Frey from Parma.

Just been browsing the Italian League forum and seen that Nasty Nick has posted a list of released players which includes Zivkovic, Casazza, Pinato and Paganin from Samp. Is this correct.

There is a rumor of a possible swap with Bologna regarding Bellucci (former Samp player) and Flachi.
Wooooaah thats a bit scary, I asked you about Bellucci towards the end of the season didn't I. What do you think, good deal or bad:confused: he looked good against Arsenal, 10 years ago:D ;)

Know what you mean Lennon, all this half ownership stuff is confusing:confused:

Italians watch Saha

Sampdoria and Lecce have targeted Fulham¡¦s Louis Saha. With both clubs expecting to lose Fabio Bazzani and Javier Chevanton respectively, they see the French striker as a suitable replacement.

Saha is a decent player but not a centre forward like Bazzani. Maybe they could play in the same team;)

Hmmmmmmm..........
So, Ambrosini will join on loan in January until the end of the season(subject to agreement)? On it's own this deal wouldn't be bad as Samp have been found wanting in midfield in some games. He may then return to Milan at the end of the season allowing Samp to make other deals for players of their choice. If it's a forerunner to a more complex deal for Bazzani in the summer, who knows?
If for arguments sake, Samp want to sell Bazza as part of the grand plan, which players should be sought in return? Securing the whole of Donati would be a good start, but Antonini, is he as lightweight as Toni says. What other players would they be willing to offer? probably no one who's a regular starter at the moment.
As regards Chevanton, he would be an excellent signing. Prso , I've only seen that one CL game ,but Bazzani may have to be sold to finance them.:( Is Garrone operating Sampdoria as a self financing buisness or does he personally bankroll the team?
This is one of my longer posts, I've surprised myself:tongue: ;)

Dado Prso is reportedly set to join Milan in January despite the club insisting that there will be no changes to their squad.

The Croatian’s agent claims that he has held talks with the Rossoneri and is confident a deal will be done.

"Prso will be moving to Italy," Marko Naletelic told a Croatian newspaper. "We are holding negotiations with Milan and they are very keen on him.

"The chances of reaching an agreement are very high. There is also an option to join Sampdoria if no deal can be agreed with Milan."

Prso is currently at Monaco who are set to cash in on the player as he will be a free agent next summer.

A host of clubs were being linked with his swoop after his recent goal rush for his club and country.

The arrival of a forward player would definitely make sense for the European Champions who no longer have Rivaldo in their squad.

Even if chief Adriano Galliani insists that his club will not be using the January transfer window.

"There will be nobody going out of the door and nobody coming in through it," said the Rossoneri main man.

Modena have moved to bolster their squad by signing Sampdoria defender Alessandro Grandoni.
Grandoni will spend the rest of the season on loan after both clubs reached a quick agreement on the deal.

Grandoni's arrival could not be better timed for Modena with Luca Ungari facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines through injury.

Ungari is set to be missing for up three months after tests showed he had sustained a broken foot

Have Modena got Domizzi as well:confused:
