Anything but a convincing win would suprise me; but still the players shouldnt think that simply showing up will make Barnsley roll over.

Their fans will be in La La Land when kick-off arrives. That's really cool for the city of Barnsley to be able to host a world power at home in a FA Cup quarter-final. Even though they'll get beat easily they'll still remember that day they got to host Chelsea in a FA Cup QF. Kudos to Barnsley for beating Liverpool too :howler: we better not take them too lightly

I hope Ivanovic will get his debut at last. Skrtel also came from Russia and already has several league appearances to his name for Liverpool and Bane is still "not match fit"? It would sound as a nonsense to me...

I hope to see Ivanovic too, but I think he is injured. United out, so, with all the respect, we have this Cup in our hands. We are clearly favourites right now.

Ivanovic picked up a injury during his fitness-training after arriving from Lokomotiv but he's fit and should be able to play tonight. I don't know if he's in the squad though, english clubs are really bad at annoucing their squads.

I've heard he's in the squad and that he'll feature, but let's see if that's true.

No Ivanovic. Line-up: Carlo, Belletti, Carvalho, Terry, Bridge, Essien, Ballack, SWP, Joe, Malouda and Anelka. On bench: Hilario, TBH, Obi Wan, Kalou and Pizarro.

I'm surprised Alex doesn't play.

a) Over-rotated
b) Essien out of position
c) Cole-dependence
d) Lazy Anelka and Maoulda up-front
e) Careless defending

To sum it up - crappy half. We are lucky not to be behind.

damn Barnsley isn't messing around. They're not all that bad :irritate: We need to get Anelka some openings so he can get going

tight first half. Barny's are full throttle. Terry's indecisiveness almost cost us. JC almost bagged one. We are lacking creativity in their end. Odejayi is causing a few problems. Hopefully we can wear them out before they shock us.

Come on guys, don't be too harsh on our lads and rather applaud Barny's effort. If we lose this they would deserve it. COYB!!!
