i just have this funny feeling the Ivica Olic is gonna come to the party at this tournament.

I have a feeling he will play out of his skin and might even get golden boot. I know, i know...but for some reason this is what im thinking...

Id like to see Petric with Rakitic playing behind him, but i think we al lknow its gonna be Ivica with Mladen...and for some reason...he will come up trumps.

the couple of weeks before the tournament to me will be the most important.

Yes we know we can play, but will we be fit?

Robert Kovac is done.

Niko Kovac is done.

I dont know why people are excluding Simunic from the 11. He has hardly had a chance as a CB under Bilic. I would still take Joey over Knezevic.

I hope Slaven doesnt put Niko Kovac and Robert Kovacs feelings and pride ahead of the greater good which is what is right and the best for Croatia at Euro 08...I think we will all know what he is thinking from these next 2 friendlies.

And to me, it might seem late for all these changes, yes, BUT! if he did go with Vukjevic, Pranjic & Corluka and Simunic as CBs, nobody would be able to read us. Theyd have nothing and i dont think it would be some long period of time for the guys to adjust to each other.

In fact i think it would be great.

Well i wouldnt put Knezevic in right now.

I would go with this

Srna-Corluka-Simunic-Pranjic. 3 of those guys know those postions like the back of their hands

you are all paranoid. in fact, your team has the quality to easily go out of the group. anything else would be a major upset.

CRO - AUT 4-0
CRO - POL 3-1
CRO - GER 1-1

now look at this, Hungary's recent results against these teams:

GER - HUN 0-2 (2004)
AUT - HUN 1-2 (2006)
POL - HUN 0-1 (2007)

even we would advance from that group, so make Pannonia proud, Hrvatska!

svozkap, after our last few tournaments, we have nothing really to be optimistic about. I say go into it with low expectations and then you cant break your heart/spirit/balls/head/brainroud:
