depends, I will either be really negative or semi-positive, depending on the upcoming results and the news leading up

If I am negative, I will expect Croatia to crash out and win one point (against Germany of course) but lose to Austria and Poland.

Though, what I seriously hope is at least quarterfinals, anything above that is a bonus

I think we should breeze by Austria, but that may be too cocky, but last time we played them in Vienna we blew them away 4-0. Germany will be a tight game, possibly one of these 0:0 matches, but I can see Germany win it. Poland will also be tight, but right now I give the egde to Cro

But again, this can all change in a matter of weeks, I might have to go Hajduk-negative when the tournament starts

though Croatia are historically terrible against them. That's the one "big squad" I want to avoid at all costs, but of course they are the prime opponents in the next round.

Italy is the one big team I am confident Croatia can beat, as Italy can't even beat Croatia in Italy

I seriously think if Olic is a starter, it will be three games and out, I have absolutely zero confidence in him. I honestly have more confidence in Kalinic with his 0 caps than Olic. Outside of Italy, when was the last time Olic did something when it mattered? (The England game away in the whole picture did not matter, they could have lost 100-0 and still qualified)

that's what I'm afraid of, Bilic will put Olic in the lineup, force him in, and Simunic will still be LB. Maybe you can get away with that against Austria and maybe even Poland, but not against the top teams

I am ultra negative after today's result

the game was not impressive, the media isn't helping fueling this fight between Bilic and the HNS, some players need to be tested which Bilic hasn't even called up. I am getting nervous, but when we get knocked out of the groups, I won't be shocked

yeah, but when Croatia get knocked out in the group stages he will go down the same as the previous managers, and we will bring in Ivankovic, who will qualify and get sacked after World Cup 2010, then we will hire Zoran Vulic, who will qualify but get sacked after Euro 2012, the cycle will never stop when I'm alive

don't know if I am the first to say this, but Croatia will not pass the group stages, I have little confidence in the team and as usual with my sports teams, pessimism is the way to go

here are my early predictions, typical Croatian fashion btw

vs. Austria 0:0
vs. Germany 1:0
vs. Poland 1:2

They will continue to trend of beating or playing well against the better teams (Italy, France, Brazil), they will continue to trend of underachieving in the matches they should win (Ecuador, Switzerland, Japan) and they will lose/draw when it matters (Ecuador, England, Australia)
