I thought it would be a good idea to have a seperate thread for this coming month of excitement.
A place where we talk about the Milan players in the tournament, who you root for, etc.

Forza Azzurri! :proud:

As a Milan fan I hope our midfield do well at the tournament. :)
I would love to see Pirlo scoring the decisive goal in the Final.

As a Milan fan who acknowledges that our players have won too much for their own good, particularly the italian ones, and who also recognizes that our future captain Massimo Ambrosini said that the main problem is motivation, if the azzurri win this tournament our players will have nothing to play for except the UEFA Cup.

They won the WC and followed up with a CL win... so i doesn't mean that they can't keep the motivation level, its just that this season is the only one that motivation could come into question.

Whatever happens with the azzurri in this euro, I just want my players to be fit and motivated to win the scudetto, which will be nearly impossible. Period.

I wanted to open this thread earlier, but then I realized we only have five players in the Euros, whats the use? :D

we have only 5 as we speak :D You never know till the start of the tournament, plus i guess by the time the market is over we might be saying "Oh, at this Euro there were X Milan players (X > 5) "

For example, I dont know qhat happened to the RVN to Milan rumours but there is a high chance that i will be watching most of the games with his N9 shirt on ;)

I understand what you mean, but as a Milan fan and Azzurri fan, I would gladly trade the UEFA Cup trophy for the Euro 2008 trophy. :hopeful:

Can be used for just general discussions too. Come on jani, most of us will be following the tournament once it starts. Forget about the mercato for the next month. :D

I cant wait for Euro 2008!

As my profile shows, I'm going to be supporting France and Portugal. I have French blood through my father's side and Portuguese through my mother's, plus I like both teams for different reasons. Despite all the criticism France receive, if they dont blow up in the group stages they can go all the way and Portugal's potential makes them a truly realistic dark horse.

It's a shame there are not more Milan players in the tournament, but just having Pirlo there is enough. I love watching him in the Azzurri jersey because he tends to play differently. Italy are a team I've always had a soft spot for too, but it kinda clashes with my love for France. ;)

Can we expect Flamini to get any minutes behind Makelele and Vieira? I haven't followed France NT games lately.

Hopefully pirlo has a ripper, but he also needs a break.
