Our game should be interesting if only because it's our new coaches first game in charge. So all eyes will be on him looking for signs of improvement.

No no, you misunderstoond :)

Game will be on A Le Coq Arena like always, just before the game there will organize Song festival on stadium. Same event was also before Estonia-Poland match. There will be many song choirs before the game (from Estonia and Latvia) and they sing some national songs

Hehe, thanks.

Already couldn't imagine there would be a game at the song festival grounds, there's not enough space for a pitch :D.

Does Estonia play all their national team matches on the A Le Coq Arena?

Btw Aivar Pohlak wanted to play against Brazil on song festival ground in 2009, but Brazil FA refused
:eekani:

Would that area be big enough to put a football pitch inbetween of the white stand and the hill?
It would be a great event, I'm sure of that.

btw, I like the fact, you're the only European nation, having played versus all other European nations (true, no?), especially since you're a 'young' country.

I think, its possible but it will be really funny, when we really should play there in future. Another intresting fact: In 1998, before World Cup Aivar Pohlak wanted to do four teams tournament between Japan, Argentina ,Russia and Estonia on Song Festival ground, but it was cancelled, because Japan and Argentine were in same group at World Cup

And yes its true. We played with all European countries. Our Estonians, are not very happy with this record :D

When we should be play with Argentine or strong European team then maybe this game play on Song Festival Ground :D

actually there was a plan to organize the big friendly in 2009 against Brazil on the song festival ground as this would've made it possible to have a much bigger crowd (50 000) than the A Le Coq arena could accommodate. But the Brazilian FA said "no way" to this plan as the were worried about the quality of the makeshift pitch.

http://sport.delfi.ee/news/jalgpall/euroliigad/pohlak-brasiilia-tuleb-nuud-ja-mitte-kunagi-enam.d?id=21084191

Pohlaku sõnade järgi oli EJL-il algul plaan pidada Eesti — Brasiilia mäng Tallinna lauluväljakul.

“Meil oli olemas kontseptsioon, kuidas sinna väljak ja tribüünid rajada ning pealtvaatajaid oleks sinna mahtunud üle 50 tuhande,” tutvustas Pohlak kõrgelennulisi plaane.

Kuid Brasiilia-poolsele korraldajale see plaan ei meeldinud ja mäng peab toimuma professionaalsel jalgpalliväljakul.
Pohlak also said in the same article: "there will be a friendly match with Argentina either on 2010 or 2011...definitely not later than 2012." We're still waiting :D

The more I hear about that Pohlak guy, the funnier he gets :D.

Pity though Brazil wouldn't play at the songfestival grounds.

On another hand, who would pay all the costs for a match at the songfestival grounds (a lot of work needed to create a pitch there) against a big (expensive) opponent?

reportedly they paid $1 million for Brazil to come here...and then made the tickets ridiculously expensive to try and cover the costs (it was around €130 which was unheard of around here and drew huge criticism). I'm sure they could've created a pitch and some extra seating there and cut the ticket price in half and still actually make a small profit.

Estonia-Brazil game cheapest ticket cost 95 euros, what is infinite price for Estonians. It was so expensive, because bringing Brazil team to Tallinn was very very expensive.

So maybe Argentina bringing isn´t very expensive and all that money for ticket goes for Song Ground renting :)

Btw we don`t like this record, because in most of games we play with B-team and lose and then we fall in Fifa ranking. Also most of games are right on the vacation so many players just refuse to coming team. After playing with Chile and Uruguay in june 2011 there was little conflict between Pohlak and some players (mostly captain Raio Piiroja). Pohlak accused that some players aren`t rate enough to play for Estonia and them attitude is awful.
Now are everything Okey between them:D
Saddly Piiroja is near to ending his carrer due to injury. He came back to Flora to give him another last chance. If there come any another injury then he retire

SERGEI ZENJOV IS BACK ON PITCH!

Player who scored against Italy in 2010 was out from football since 2011.october, right after legendary 2:1 win against N-Ireland due to knee injury but today he made his come back in Lviv Karpatõ friendly game against Litex Lovech. He played 21.minutes. Hopefully he will be in squad for games against Andorra and Netherland. He still one of our most talented players. He had been called many times as "new Oper" :D

More exciting friendlies for Andy to look forward to.
Tarmo Rüütli said that he play with old players until end of this campaign, but he will make generation changing (dunno, how is best word in English for it :rollani::D) after World Cup 2014 qualification. So those games are perfect to test new players, who should be our main players in Euro 2016.
Our avg age is about 28,5, so we are one of the oldest teams in Europe.
