Dale Stephens (31/CM/England) Brighton > Burnley - £1.5m

So so player imo, but Dyche has been after him for ages. He has a habit of building a decent team out of players I think are only okay when they go there, so this could well be another one.

Filip Krovinovic (25/CM/Croatia) Benfica > West Brom - Loan

Another one of WBA's loanees from last season comes back, did a good job for them last season and should do a decent job for them this season too.

Ruben Dias (23/CB/Portugal) Benfica > Man City - £62m

City back to doing what they do best, spending a lot of money on central defenders. This is the replacement for Kompany really and City will hope he can be a defensive leader, they've let Otamendi go in the opposite direction too.

Ross Barkley (26/CM/England) Chelsea > Aston Villa - Loan

Bloody good signing for Villa this imo, Ross hasn't quite managed to establish himself at Chelsea but he'll add a different dimension to Villa.

Ademola Lookman (22/LW/England) RB Leipzig > Fulham - Loan

Lookman's permanent move to Leipzig hasn't really worked out after excelling there on loan. Fulham will be hoping that he can get that great run of form that he showed back on a more consistent basis for them. Could potentially be a very good signing.

Andi Zeqiri (21/FW/Switzerland) Lausanne > Brighton - £1.5m

Not gonna lie I have no idea who this dude is.

Vladimir Coufal (28/RB/Czech Republic) Slavia Prague > West Ham - £5m

Former teammate of Soucek that West Ham have picked up, maybe on his recommendation. Quite late for someone who's never played outside of Czech Republic to make the jump to the PL, but might be good.

Wesley Fofana (19/CB/France) St Etienne > Leicester - £30m

Only broke into the St Etienne team last season, but Leicester must think he's the real deal if they're already willing to splash £30m on him.

France seems to have an unfair number of potentially great CBs.

Rhian Brewster (20/ST/England) Liverpool > Sheff Utd - £23.5m

Seems an insane risk for them to spend this much on a guy with half a season of championship football under his belt and still give Liverpool a buy back clause.

Carlos Vinicius (25/ST/Brazil) Benfica > Spurs - Loan

So this is your vice-Kane. Difficult role in that Spurs will be hoping he doesn't have to play much, but he'll also have to make up for the absence of Kane when called upon. Brought in on an inexpensive loan with a £45m buying option, so if he doesn't manage to impress, no problem.

Ibrahima Diallo (21/DM/France) Brest > Southampton - £12m

Former Monaco youngster joins Southampton after apparently a good year at Brest. Southampton needed a good destroyer after losing Hojbjerg to Spurs, so this is an important signing for them.

Rayan Ait-Nouri (19/LB/France) Angers > Wolves - £13m

Mendes continues to serve Wolves well as he helps them tie up a deal for one of the hottest young full backs in European football who burst onto the scene in France last year.

Ben Godfrey (22/CB/England) Norwich > Everton - £25m

The positive summer continues for Everton as they pick up one of the best young English CB's for a reasonable price. Carlo and Brands are so much better at recruitment than their previous people.

Deadline day rumours.

Man U are pretty close on Alex Telles and Cavani, also signing a couple of younger players and considering Dembele. Sancho seems a no go.

Arsenal are set to pay Partey's release clause.

Fulham are linked with every CB in the world.

Walcott going back to Southampton.

Alex Telles (27/LB/Brazil) Porto > Man Utd - £18m

United finally have a full back who can competently cross a ball, in the last year of his contract, so bargain price.

Edinson Cavani (33/ST/Uruguay) PSG > Man Utd - Free

Doesn't seem like he was exactly first choice, but he could add something. His game has always been pretty well suited to the prem, imo.

Theo Walcott (31/FW/England) Everton > Southampton - Loan

Nice to see Theo go back to his boyhood club for the season, hopefully he can reignite his career there. I personally still think he has the ability to do well at this level.

Raphinha (23/RW/Brazil) - Rennes > Leeds - £17m

Another one in at Leeds, with this seemingly ever improving Brazilian. Dunno much about him but apparently he did well in France last year.

Joachim Andersen (24/CB/Denmark) Lyon > Fulham - Loan

I remember this guy was pretty highly rated when he was at Samp, doesn't seem to have set the world on fire at Lyon, though.

Fantastic player. Yeah, he hardly played at Lyon, but he did very well when he came in in the decisive game vs Juventus in the CL. I'm not sure he will be enough, but Fulham bought the right player.
