i have just wathched this fascinating program on johan on a good channel called espn claasic.there are a few quistions id like to ask about some of the quistions it raised. first of all why did the barca board go after him like that.and werent the fans angry that they did this. also why was there alot of controversey about his son being called jordi. what does that name mean in spain . i would appreciate a barca fans insight please. AUPA ATHLETIC !!!!!!!!!!

If i remember correctly, Jordi is the name of San Jordy (sp?), the 'protector' of Catalunya. The government back then didn't allow people to give their children Catalan names, so Johan Cruijff changed the spelling a bit.

Hahaha, this is pretty funny I heard the exact same story today but my Dutch friend Jordi. He told me he was named that because of all the problems that Johan had trying to name his son that in Barcelona
