This is our last game in the group and Besiktas needs to win in order to advance to the final stage.

Malmo is a tough team and we saw how they played against Vitesse. Besiktas needs to play strong, calm, and most importantly smart against our Swedish opponents. I have faith but feel a little nervous about this game. Hopefully BJK will soar through this one.

BJK 2 - 1 Malmo

From Malmo FF's official site:

Besiktas JK ligger femma i turkiska ligan.

-----------------------------------------

Now the time has come to play Besiktas in the group's final match. It's going to be hard but, nothing is impossible. Due to the rules of the tournament us beating Vitesse 6-0 does not matter and in order to come out of the group we must win. If the game ends in a draw the loser will be made clear through penalty kicks. The same starting 11 who played against Vitesse will also start against Besiktas.

Weather: Up until now its has been sunny and 20-25 degrees during the day. Towards the end of the day and the evening the weather gets cold but we must keep in consideration that it is winter.

Accomodations: "Superb hotel and there is everything that comes to your mind. Everything is first class. It has been the best (accomodations) that we have seen up until today" - Hasse Borg (Malmo representative)

News: Since the game we played on Friday we have practiced 4 times. We have spent our free time by resting, tanning, and swimming. We have also been able to go sightseeing and bowling. Tomorrow morning we have practice and our game against Besiktas at night. The only change in the sqaud will be on our defensive right wing Hasse Mattisson will take place in the starting 11 against Besiktas.

The players who did not come to Turkiye due to the winter break are slowly returning to the team. None of these players will be joining the team for camp in Antalya but they will be practicing till we come back. Alfonso is going to join practice today and Samuel Barlay will join wed/thurs.

Our Competition: Besiktas is currently 5th place in the Turkish League. Before going on winter break Besiktas scored 10 goals in their last 3 games, they are a strong and technical team. Besiktas is one of the three big teams from Istanbul and have strong fanatic fan base and average 28,000 fans at there home games.

Our starting 11 against Besiktas:

Mattias Asper

Hasse Mattisson, Peter Abelsson, Olof Persson, Josef Elanga

Louay Chanko, Daniel Andersson, Thomas Olsson, Yksel Osmanovski

Markus Rosenberg, Niklas Skoog

If Okan hadn't been subbed for Toraman, there wouldn't have been the penalty and Besiktas would have won!

Kanser olacam mina koyim... Besiktas a ve Galatasaraya YUUHH! Antalyada kendi evimizde topragimizda rezil olduk.

Its a never ending nightmare. Wtf is going on?

The first half was complete garbage. BJK should of went into halftime 1-0.

When the second half came around the game gained some tempo. We miss 2 clear opportunities before we get scored on (1-0). Then BJK regains their composure and Akin scores for us with Ali Gunes' superb center (1-1). That wasn't enough for us.... Veysel comes through and scores giving us the lead in the 83rd minute and it seemed as if we guaranteed our spot in the final game.

BUT NO.... King No Luck Toroman (who comes in with 2 minutes left in regulation time.. I don't know wtf Bosque was thinking) gets a red card (WHAT ELSE IS NEW?) for a handball in the 92nd minute and Malmo ties the game with 1 minute left. On a side note Murat is a piece of sh!t.... I don't understand why Bosque would use Murat in this game and not against Vitesse. Since Cordoba was going to play anyway why not use him against Malmo???? atleast Ramazan!!

So the game was tied 2-2 at the end of 93 minutes and I knew that we were going to lose the game in PKs.... Why? I knew that Bosque would initially use illogical players to take the kicks... i.e. Dogan and Cagdas (whyyyyyyyyyy????) You have Akin, Berkant, Ahmet Yildirim standing there and you chose to use Dogan and Cagdas. Aklim almadi harbi almadi abi....

I was nervous about this game but BJK had more chances and IMO deserved to win this game. Instead we lost to Malmo who had I think over 10 sponsors logos on their uniforms.. including the ones on their ass and front genital organs.

Its all good life goes on... we can consider this as training for the TFF and we must always remember and keep in our minds... SEVINMEK ICIN SEVMEDIK!

I really did not expect anything different... classic BJK game.. lose in the last minutes of the game...moda oldu artik moda!

I really like Bosque as a person and all but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.... I don't understand wtf he is doing or thinking. Im happy that he was succesful in the past but that really doesn't concern us if he is not doing a good job NOW. What else is left to test with this guy? AHHH Lucescu ahhhh!!!!!!! Now thats an accomplished person. He has been succesful almost where ever he has gone. Im sorry to say this but Bosque needs to go... I just want this season to end already.... We can not expect anything better for next season if BJK continues this way. Our board needs to get real... we are not getting anywhere this way.

TFF championship is gone (I dont care wtf Bosque says)
UEFA is gone
Efes Cup is gone
Turkiye Kuapsi will be gone

eeeee daha ne bekliyor bizim okuz yoneticiler??? taraftarlari uzmek/delirtmek hoslarina gidiyo heralde...

If he wasn't sacked for dropping so far behind in the league, and for getting knocked out of Europe, why should he be sacked for losing in a friendly cup like this?

And look at that Asper. He was crap when he played for you guys, and now this..

Besiktas could've won this had Carew converted or had our goalie not sucked.
But that's ok, it's a preperation match, so there's no need to stresss about it. I hope it's doing the team good, that's all.
BTW, Veysel has beeen outstanding, and juanfran is showing significant improvement.
Veysel should play upfront with Carew. Watching him score in every match makes me wonder, why the hell did we play against Parma with no real striker upfront?
and Ibrahim Akin...
They need to focus on this kid and help him improve his game. Pleeeease Bosque, at least do that for us.

It's not just about losing this friendly game. It's his overall coaching and strategies up until now. Dropping him just because of this tournament would not make sense... that is not what I'm saying or want. It's just frustrating when BJK should of won and we lost because of stupid judgements and errors....

As for Asper.. he was amazing today.. PROPS to him.

Yeah but you're pretty much calling for his head at the moment.. My point is that if he hasn't been sacked yet, this Efes Pilsen Cup match won't make any difference at all..

Which is sad..

I don't see BJK getting any better at this rate with Bosque. Hopefully at the end of the season things will change.

A typical turkish club vs. swedish club game. Just remember Galatasaray-Göteborg game.. But what Besiktas needs to learn is that keeping the ball 60+% of time doesnt mean a shit, its what you do when you have it that makes the difference. Not that MFF was good at this last night, but Besiktas showed a huge ineffectivity when they had the ball...

Okan played very vell, his passes was allways correct in the midfield. Ali G. managed to go past their DL couple of time and the goal came from his side. Carew is just Carew, nothing new here, he dissapears from games sometimes. The first MFF goal came after that our defence ****ed up with the marking, and mind you MFF did not test our defence so much this game(how many attacks did they have the whole game? :googly: ). They were "finished" after the 60th minute since its only pre-season for them. We should have won the game after their first goal.
