Corinthians director of football Carlos Nujud claimed that an Italian club have made an 16 million lire offer for forward Edilson Da Silva Ferreira.Edilson is considered one of the best players in Brazil but he has been unsettled for some weeks now following events out of Corinthians training center where angry fans attacked Edilson and teammates Vampeta and Ricardinho after a defeat from rivals Palmeiras for the Copa Libertadores.Edilson said that he would never play for the club again.Brazilian clubs Vasco Da Gama and Flamengo are interested in the 29 years old forward but Corinthians seems reluctant to sell their best player at a Brazilian club.

Nujud did not name the club however it is believed its Parma since all other big Italian clubs have been setled in the attacking line after Fiorentina's double hit yesterday with Adriano and Nuno Gomez being dressed in Viola.
