I read in goal that we are interested in these players.

Don't know what to say. For as little as i have seen Modric, i think he is talented but not strong.
I do however prefere him to Eboue, who doesnt seem right for Juve, but ofcourse i could be wrong.

What are your thoughts?

Eboue is capable of playing the whole flank. It seems to be that Ranieri like to use such kind of player, or rather, my impression of ranieri is that he like Strong / Physical players. Espeically Full backs that can attack. (didnt he choose Glen Johnson and Wayne Bridge)

Modric may seem to be a mess inside a bigger mess. If his value drop cuz of that, he is a very good buy for any serie A club... me thinks.

Off Topic : Arsenal fans dont have a choice, Cesc Fabregas, Eboue, ADEBAYOR, others with some value are likely to be sold. Although the management and wenger try to say otherwise.

Profitable feeder club will continue training and selling. Its good business., very good.

i can repeat some of what have been mentioned here. eboue is able to be an excellent addition for ranieri. he can fight for RB or RM position easily, he is a strong player.
but modric isn`t a strong player and isn`t better thant the current players. i doubt he`s going to succeed in serie a.

Both good players to sign... even though Eboue for me is not that great a player, he is a decent choice as a back-up flank player... and then Modric of course speaks for himself, would be suited to Serie A and Juve more than he is to the current Spurs team.

I would welcome either of them.
Ditto, but it is hardly realistic that we could get them, although Eboue isn't really needed at Arsenal (rather he is detrimental on the RW quite often).
Modric would be much better in serieA than the PL I think.

Eboue is a decent attacking rightback but for the love of god don't play him in midfield. He is a real athletic strong guy who loves to get up the line, yet he is solid defensively. He is a bit of dumb arse on the ball, he always seems to take a second too long to play the pass, and his touch/distribution is inconsistent.

Modric is the kind of central player you need. Someone to control the game. A real playermaker, technically class and a great passer of the ball with both feet. He is tactically brilliant and would be a real great addition to your side.

He would be a very good signing as an RB. Welcomed upgrade, but he is Salihamidzic-esque as a right winger, so its one of Wengers worst brainfarts to play him there. I think he is quite a realistic signing too.

Modric on the other hand, despite the state of Spurs, is sadly an unrealistic signing. Though I would take him in a heartbeat, would be wonderful for us.

I'd buy Eboue without hesitating, playing him RB. The year Arsenal got to the CL-final, Eboue was Dani Alves-good.

No idea why AW went and bought Sagna - as it completely stagnated Eboue's progression as one of the best and most complete RBs in the game. I think he would be a fabulous coup for Juve, but I can not see Arsene letting him go. He's a super utility player for him at the moment.

Modric would shine in SerieA but I don't think Juve will cough up the €30M required for his signature - I doubt Spurs will negotiate a transfer for anything less than that.

He's a much better player, that's why. Sagna is better in defence, better in the air and just as good going forward if not better because it's not aimless. He had more assists than Eboue last season. The Sagna signing is more or less the only example of Wenger strengthening the Arsenal team through a proactive measure rather than a reactive replacement signing for sixpence halfpenny in the last four years.

I think they're both as good as each other going forward from RB with Eboue shading it - he's a better crosser of the ball. Sagna is more secure defensively agreed, but overrall as RBs I see very little between them. I think most Arsenal fans have quickly forgotten just how good Eboue was at RB (he was a major part of the CL record nine clean sheets), such is the extent of his disappointing displays at RW.
