I'm starting to appreciate Pippo Inzaghi.

Ehm... cough cough.... This is against my principles. :)

I'm impressed by him this season.

Yes, you heard me. Since his return from injury Inzaghi has been absolutely amazing. Generally, he has been rocking for Milan this season and accepting he has lame service Inzaghi is really proving people wrong not only by scoring but adding more to his game than what he did with Juventus- meaning, he is more mobile than ever and he actually passes the ball correctly. He is still a diver but I've come to the conclusion he is not such a bad player after all. Pippo was also a goal getter, the thing is that till this season he also was a goal misser. It was trademark that he needed 3 or 4 chances to score one goal... but this season he has been absolutely lethal in front of the net.

So yes, Amo, one of the biggest Pippo Inzaghi enemies admits that this season Pippo Inzaghi has been really good and he fully deserves his place in the World Cup squad.

For what is worth, this season Pippo won my admiration.

Amo u big "closet pippo fan"

Honestly pippo has been our best guy this year, scoring and setting up

hell he makes as many goals as he scores, unlike the rest of em bums who are pansy's...currently only pippo and pirlo play with the pride of the jersey!

ironic one is a former interista and the other a juventino

May I add my own note of congrats and surprise at the revelation that has been Pippo Inzaghi this season. I think what has fuelled it all, and he himself has said throughout the season, is that he feels wanted and appreciated at Milan. We made a bid sacrifice to get him, money and players, and were blasted by press and fans for getting rid of Zenoni. In my opinion, he is turning into a very very important player for Milan, his workrate seems to be growing, his finishing is great and who can forget those all important penalties he gets.

Stand up Pippo Inzaghi!!!!!!
Yes, he's becoming again the >SupperPippo he used to be. In the beginning that I started to support Juventus, he was one of my favourite players. The super duo Del Piero - Inzaghi. But last year I felt that his time at Juventus had come to an end. And I'm happy for him that he made a great comeback.

Forza Pippo!

I must say that i never liked Pippo so much, but i really admire his performance this season!:)
He gives everything on the field, just like Gattuso!
Plus he has found a coolness in front of the goal so he doesn´t need 5 chances for a goal anymore! Respect!:proud::star:
Well, personally I have never understood the criticism he has received.. Always a goalgetter.. He has always had an extraordinary positioning ability.. That´s why he always gets many chances.. All strikers have their ups and downs and therefore a striker who always gets lot´s of opportunities sometimes wastes a lot..

In my oppinion Pippo has been one of the 5 most valuable strikers in the world the last 10 years.. Horribly underrated by those who don´t appreciate the way he plays.. And possibly Italy´s best striker.
Well said !!!!!

its exactly right though, no one will score on every chance...but one guy getting 5 chances a game and socres 2 and another gets scores 1 on 2 chances !!!! Id take the guy who scored 2 !!!!!!
I agree with Laudrup. I have never understood all the criticism he receives. He is a great player and scores goals and creates many goals. What more do you want from him? I think it's because he has always liked Milan and Berlusconi and his father are good friends or something.
Let's face it: Pippo Inzaghi will never become a legend like Baggio or Del Piero. I admit that he is a good player, only few attackers can beat his scoring-record, but I have to say, that there is nothing special in him. There is something special in Del Piero, in Pirlo, and there was in Leonardo, but Inzaghi is just a regular attacker. No offence. He is good, but not that good.

So basically what you´re saying is that the only "special" players out there are the technical gifted players? There´s nothing special about Vieri, Inzaghi, Bierhoff and all the other strikers who don´t need a brilliant technique to score twice as much as the players you mentioned?

No, Pippo is still a diver deluxe and whiney crybaby. The only difference is he does it for the good guys. ;)

And he still scores goals like a mofo. He always has.
