Remember when CSKA won the UEFA Cup? That was Sibneft sponsoring them, now known as Gazprom.I'm sure they do every time they sit down to negotiate that sponsorship deal. If anything it should be Gazprom thanking Zenit. Outside of Europe and the former soviet republics, Gazprom is virtually unknown. Now that Zenith made it to the finals with Gazprom written all over their shirts more people will at least recognize the brand name around the world.
