AC Milan and Juventus Pondering Del Piero-Rui Costa Swap Deal

Sources close to SoccerAge.com sister site are reporting that Milan and Juventus met to discuss an incredible swap deal involving Alessandro Del Piero and Manuel Rui Costa.

The two Serie A giants are still far from an agreement, but there is no doubt Juve would like to get rid of their super-expensive skipper, despite the fact that he helped the team clich their 26th Scudetto in May.

On their part AC Milan are afraid they are not the team for Rui Costa, and are therefore desperately looking for a valid replacement for the Portugal international.

Del Piero might be the perfect answer for the Rossoneri, however there are still many obstacles to surmount before the deal can become reality.

There is no way Juve would let go of Del Piero, especially after the season he just had. He is their captain, their star, their favourite son. And to let him go to their most fierce rivals AC Milan, would be insane.

Plus if this was to happen, I would fly to Italy and shoot Berlusconi and the rest of Milan.
