Here is one kid whom I am looking forward to!!

I think he is now 10years old. In 6 or 7 years I hope he will make his debut for Hajduk. He is Blanka Vlasices young brother and with his sister being the top female athlete in high jump he is bound to take football professionally which is 50% of the job done. He has the talent which is 25%. A bit of luck and we should have a brilliant lil player!

injury problems, he was with Sibenik, but now in the 2.HNL, he is done unfortunately, at least according to MM who maybe follows the Hajduk youth more closely

here is my top 10 under 21, but I did this quickly so the rankings could be off
1. Ivan Rakitic (Schalke 04, 1988)
2. Vedran Corluka (Manchester City, 1986)
3. Nikola Kalinic (Hajduk Split, 1988)
4. Mario Mandzukic (Dinamo Zagreb, 1986)
5. Ivo Ilicevic (Bochum/Greuther Furth, 1986)
6. Dejan Lovren (Inter Zapresic, 1989)
7. Milan Badelj (Dinamo Zagreb/Lokomotiva, 1989)
8. Vedran Niksic (Osijek, 1987)
9. Domagoj Vida (Osijek, 1989)
10. Drago Gabric (Hajduk Split, 1986)

Yeah actually anis sharbini should get a mention  :

But gabrić is quite a player also, if it wasnt for Injury Hajduk would have done a lot better than they did in this season.

It's difficult to rate players 1-10, but these 3 should also be added to the list:

Ante Rukavina
Anas Sharbini
Manuel Pamic

How many games have been played already? Who's first? How many does Mandzukic have? I'm sorry I don't follow the HNL.

overall, counting all competitions this season kalinic scored 23 goals.

someone asked about bacelic - grgic. anyways he was a technically sound player, but also a lazy ****. when he got out of juniors and was expected for him to be introduced to the first team he became stuck up, thought he deserves a place in the team without any work at all and such. thats why he failed in sibenik as well. currently he's in nk trogir.

another highly rated youngster is mario ticinovic, 16 year old playmaker from hajduk's youth academy who is rated as extraordinary technician, but as he still didn't play any first team football its too early to say how good he really is.

Rukavina? Gimme a break...
Whatever dude. He's a great talent and that's clear for everyone to see. Whether or not he'll be able to fulfill that potential is another thing (although I still believe he will). But he's about as "physically talented" as you will find in Croatia.

he is not even in my top 50, Bosko Balaban is currently better than him, and he is looking like a fat grandmother recently, Dinamo should sell him to FK Banja Luka or whatever they are called
