Bravo Niko, well done and best of luck! Always will be one of my favorites and I think this will help prepare him for a more successful spell as NT Izbornik in the future

Not sure that guys like Kovac or Bilic, who are getting gigs in petica leagues are going to take a huge payout and deal with all the nonsense and politics of coaching the NT

Romeo Jozak already out at Legia Warsaw on the same week after Kovac joins Bayern Munich (these two had history with the NT and they apparently didn't get along :lala: )

He lasted 7 months there and lost 3 of the last 4 matches in the Polish league which has an interesting title race going on

Kovac leads Frankfurt to their 2nd consecutive DFB Pokal final where he will face future employer Bayern

Bilic is a candidate to replace Kovac at Eintracht Frankfurt

Dean Klafuric, the interim manager of Legia has led to club to the Polish Cup final in his first match, he will be in charge until the summer. Klafuric was the assistant manager under Jozak

Igor Tudor is back, new manager of Udinese, so another Croatian manager in a top league

He will be coaching Andrija Balic and Stipe Perica as well

Welp. I guess with Tudor at the helm in Friuli, looks like Udinese might finally end their Serie A run and dip back into Serie B.

:D

Zoran Mamic won the cup with Al Ain from UAE. Anyway was looking at their wiki page out of interest and saw their whole coaching staff were Croatian. :D I know the coach usually brings a few of his own guys but this looks excessive lol.

Coach: Zoran Mamic
Assistant Coach: Damir Krznar
2nd Assistant Coach: Željko Sopić
Fitness coach: Ivan Štefanić
Fitness coach: Milan Šnjarić
Goalkeeping coach: Miralem Ibrahimović
First team tehnical analyst: Vedran Attias
Club doctor: Jurica Rakić
Physiotherapist: Ivica Oršolić, Marin Polonijo, Božo Šinković
U-21 team head coach: Joško Španjić

In fact before Mamic, Dalic was the coach, so they've had a Croatian coach since 2014. Should just rename the club Al Ainic.

Lech Poznan sack Nenad Bjelica with two games to go in the Polish season as they are practically out of the title race after winning 1 of their last 5 matches.

Probably a candidate for the Dinamo job should Jurcevic get sacked

Ivan Juric linked with Benevento who will play in Serie B next season

First win for Igor Tudor at Udinese and one which puts them very close to safety, a win over Bologna will be enough but likely a draw as well

Congrats to Ivan Leko and Club Brugge, Belgian league champions, first Croatian manager to win a top 10 European league probably since Ivic

Also congrats to Damir Buric on a different level as he guided Greuther Furth to safety in the 2BL, when he took over they were bottom of the table without a win

Igor Biscan and Olimpija Ljubljana are essentially throwing the league title away, in early April they had a 7 point lead but 2 wins in their last 7 sees them drop to 2nd with a match at Maribor still to come

Slaven Bilic is the favorite to replace Kovac at Eintracht Frankfurt

Mixed success for Croatian coaches in the Asian CL: Ivankovic's Persepolis in dramatic fashion make the quarterfinals after a dramatic late winner saw them eliminate Al-Jazira of UAE. Zoran Mamic who is getting a lot of praise at Al-Ain was easily dispatched 8:3 on aggregate by a side from Qatar

Just as the title was slipping away, Biscan's Olimpija Ljubljana won a big match away to Maribor, 3:2 coming from behind and scoring two late goals. They have a two point lead with two matches to play however they still have a difficult fixture away to Domzale to finish the season

Olimpija have an Aussie in their squad, Jason Davidson on loan from Rijeka. He played his youth football in Japan and Portugal. His grandmother is Japanese.

Back to back wins for Tudor at Udinese and they are safe

Legia Warsaw win the Polish league, Klafuric was in charge for both their cup win and their final matches in the league, wonder if he will stay as he is still only the interim boss

His father played several seasons with Melbourne Croatia in the late 80's and early 90's.

Tudor is apparently already out/leaving Udinese.

Anyone notice trend with this guy!
When Tudor quit being coach of Hajduk a few days before the re-start... after the Christmas break, I immediately thought he's no different than what people described him as when he was a player....nothing but a self-centred douche bag! He was one of the most hated team-mates on any team he's ever played for. Imagine how Hajduk organization felt like when he left them stranded like that, with little time to bring someone in?

No loss if he leaves, he's a train wreck waiting to happen!

True, Tudor always looked like a šupak.
