Dinamo top of the group after only scoring 1 goal in 3 matches!

Based on highlights, Rijeka looked really unlucky, two freaky goals conceded.

Talking of Europa League, Jedvaj did a great header which led to an own goal against Israeli team Hapoel Be'er who's strip is similar to the repka - red & white checks baby.

Dinamo with probably there best game of the season in a 3-0 win. Majer had a good game. Petkovic looked better but still had some frustrating moments. Gvardiol is a beast. This kid plays like he’s a veteran. Strong calm on the ball agressive. He has it all to be a top class defender.

Dinamo in good shape to progress, three points will be enough and even a draw in their final two games could be enough

Rijeka work hard but not quite good enough for this level, especially with a difficult group. Hard to see them picking anything up

With two rounds to go (though Dinamo will probably make the knockout stage), 15th place still looks unlikely, the fact that the coefficient is divided by five hurts them this season and the fact is amongst these nations Croatia's performances are still the poorest. Czechs have two clubs who might make the knockout stages while Israel too will have at least one.

14. Denmark 27.375
15. Cyprus 27.250
16. Serbia 25.750
17. Greece 25.000
18. Switzerland 24.725
19. Czech Rep 24.000
20. CROATIA 23.475
21. Israel 23.125

Dinamo progress to the next round and win the group with a game to spare, they could make history of they keep a clean sheet on MD6 at home to CSKA becoming the first club ever to not concede a goal in a CL/EL group stage. Rijeka got a surprising result in Spain getting a 2:2 draw at Real Sociedad (lead twice), they host AZ on the final day in a game AZ has to get a result

There is also news regarding next season's European campaign, due to their low ranking Croatia will no longer have clubs competing in the Europa League and instead the three clubs will compete in the newly formed Conference League. UEFA reduced the number of teams in the EL and created a completely new watered down competition. I guess the positive is the HNL clubs will be more competitive playing teams at their level but its probably a competition most won't care about

Dinamo with an excellent campaign, went unbeaten and were 15 minutes away from making history of not conceding a goal in the group stage but Bistrovic ended that, 2nd time in the last 3 seasons they win their EL group. Rijeka did about what you expected, 4 points in a tough group, they actually could have had some more but didn't hold on at home to Sociedad

Croatia remain 20th and most of the direct rivals still have clubs in Europe remaining, though the positive is they actually outperformed last season despite having the coefficient divided by 5 (helps having two clubs in Europe which needs to be a consistent)

14. Denmark 27.875
15. Cyprus 27.750
16. Serbia 26.250 (Zvezda still in EL)
17. Switzerland 25.225 (Young Boys still in EL)
18. Greece 25.200 (Olympiakos still in EL)
19. Czech Rep 25.000 (Slavia Prague still in EL)
20. CROATIA 24.875 (Dinamo Zagreb still in EL)
21. Israel 24.375 (Maccabi Tel-Aviv still in EL)

Depending on the draw, the Czechs are in reach, even Greece/Switzerland if Dinamo can replicate two years ago

Dinamo's potential opponents: Young Boys, Molde, Slavia Prague, Benfica, Granada, Real Sociedad, Braga, Lille, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Royal Antwerp, Red Star Belgrade, Krasnodar, Red Bull Salzburg, Olympiakos, Dynamo Kiev

Great campaign for Dinamo. Wasn't expecting us to do this well so a pleasant surprise. I'll be comfortable with getting most of those teams in the KO stage, excluding some of the Spanish teams and Lille. Not saying we'd be favorites, but certainly doable.

It's a winnable tie and the Russian league will still be on break when these ties start, CSKA are doing better in the RPL but Krasnodar had better performances in Europe (outside of Chelsea at home, took 4 points from Rennes and were competitive in their two matches with Sevilla)
