The big losers are Goran Sablic and Marko Babic. Personally, i was very surprised Babic in particuallar was left out.

we were more shocked to see Maric left out !!

Babic is a young player who captains the U21 squad, he's there for the experience. He has a lot of WC and EC games infront of him, so it's not a major blow.

Jozic to leave Croatian national team after World Cup

TOYAMA, Japan, May 25 (DSA) -

Croatian national team head coach Mirko Jozic revealed he would leave his position after World Cup 2002.
He pointed out that his agreement with Croatian Football Federation expires August 1 and that he has already made a decision to leave despite any result achieved in Japan and Korea.

Latin America Bound again ??? Maybe that Long Stringy country on the Pacific ?????? :excited:
