despite Tanzi and Cragnotti reaching an agreement, the deal for Crespo
appears to be far than over. Crespo and Conceicao have not yet signed the
contracts with their new teams, and this could prove to be a fundamental
stumbling block. Crespo wants 12 billion lira per season, doubling his current
salary. It is likely that Cragnotti will meet the striker's demands, but this
could lead to an increase in all Lazio's salaries starting from Veron's who is
tempted by Real Madrid. And how would Crespo feel if his best friend Veron was
to leave? Conceicao on the other hand appears not to be too keen on moving to
Parma, even though during Euro 2000, he accepted such a possibility. The reason
for this is that he was approached a few days ago by Juventus, and would now
rather transfer to Turin.

I don't like what Juve are doing!! It seems that they are taking revenge on Lazio by trying to wreck all of their deals!! Buying Parramatti and trying for Salas and Conceicao!!

You can see this on Laziomania!!

Also ive heard Salas + Stankovic for Figo!!!
now we are talking!!!

FORZALAZIO!

I don't know... :)

But I've read it both at a parma mailing list (from a VERY reliable person) and at LazioMania...

I don't think the deal will collapse though. Here's the story from LazioMania.

Today Conceicao and his agent are going to Parma, but the Portuguese player could refuse to sign for Parma.
Because Conceicao would like to move to Juventus who has shown interest in the player. If Juventus is doing this to get a great wing player or to make sure that Lazio can't get Crespo is something that still is unsure.
