Teams like Senica, DAC or Tatran Presov (nice name, what does it mean, area + city?) are totally unknown for me...

Why do you hate Trnava btw? To me they always seem to have some passionate support and they attract most fans I believe (?) opposite to many other corgon liga teams...

Tatran Presov is a tradition team from town Presov, east Slovakia. Tatran is person who inhabits Tatra mountain area, just like Twente or Bayern.

Trnava is our biggest rival, hate these ***** with passion and they are no better :D In 1990ies they somehow finished 1st before the winter break and proudly named themselves "autumn champion" :howler: then they blow it up and didn´t won a shit but we still call them "autumn champs"

Shame they don´t live somwhere in south america, Slovakia could get rid of these peeps and Trnava can finally celebrate some REAL silwerware (apertura/clausura), just don´t recommend them to move anywhere near of decent leagues, rather to likes Costa-Rica or Trinidad/Tobago.

Well, they were autnum champions in 2005 as well and how did that end :proud:

About Slovan - you have to include also 700 000 eur on transfer fees (something around 300-500 000 went already on Božić and Putnocký - Saláta was for free:strong:) and 2.3 mil euro on reconstruction of Pasienky (30 percent of them will be funded by UEFA and next 40 percent by ministry of education - that makes Slovan participation in project for 690 000 eur).

edit: Bytheway we have new jerseys (again).

I´m not sure if what cases are stadium rebuildings costs included in team´s budget. IMO when club owns stadium they should be included, when the stadium is owned f.e. by municipality like in Zilina or Trnava, rebuilding costs aren´t included. I guess Zilina and Trnava spent more money on stadium reconstruction then Slovan. Presov and Senica did some works on their stadium too during the summer break.

Transfer fees should be included in budget. IMO Slovan still tries to inflate the budget within the end of transfer window that´s why transfer fees are not fixed yet and are excluded from the budget.

Unfortunatelly they are - they are basing their "reaserch", or how should we call it, on intercontinental matches (basicly they are putting UEFA Champions League on same level as CONCACAF Champions League and from those matches they get those so-called statistics).

The UEFA country ranking is determined by the sum of the UEFA country coefficients over the last 5 years. The column 'teams' lists the number of participating teams in the last year. In the current season also the number of teams still in competition is listed (and indicated by color). For more info see Coefficient calculations.

this intercontinental comparison is just weak but howabout comparing european leagues ? Just compare this iffhs crap to UEFA 5yrs coefficient.

No ****ing way that Corgonliga is worse than latvian, albanian, armenian or estonian leagues. At the same time, Corgonliga should be better than austrian or polish league ? Yes in my wet dream but in fact these leagues are miles better and far more competitive than ours.

georgian top division superior to czech Gambrinusliga ? :howler:
In UEFA 5-years stastistics is Slovakia on 21st position, Albania on 43rd, Latvia on 33rd, Estonia 42nd, Polish 25th, Austria 26th and Czech on 18th
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/data/method4/crank2010.html
So I guess this statistic is more trustable than the previous one.

edit: I was on few matches of Polish league. Trust me, that one is even below our level.

Gueye was trying to perform last ditch tackle our player was brought down ref showed on white point, that´s it.

Game official was Jano Šipoš, he´s not bad ref from what I know he´s honest referee, sometimes blind and inaccurate but honest. He even works as a cop in Topolcany. He was the one who ended the game Nitra-Trnava because of thrown flare.

it was SFZ decision to be precise. And funny thing is that the flare thrown from Trnava stand was thrown by Nitra fan. SFZ somehow ignored this fact and decided to punish Trnava.

In this case I understand Trnava´s anger but Sipos isn´t their guy.
