FIORENTINA defender Luca Ceccarelli has rejected the club's latest attempts to get the youngster to sign a three-year extension to his contract.
The 19-year-old, who has made a big impact since breaking into the first-team this season, is currently contracted until 2004.
However, financially stricken club want to tie down the star for an additional three more seasons in a bid to deter the starlet from leaving.
Ceccarelli's agent is confident a deal can be reached, saying: "The club has made an offer, but we want something more. I don't think we should worry about this as I'm sure we'll reach an agreement."
Meanwhile, Emiliano Moretti has revealed his desire to stay with the Viola, despite reported interest from Roma.

At least his contract ends in 2004, so there is no worry about losing him after this season on free transfer.
I don't know about Moretti's contract but a season in serie B is good for him based on this seasons performances.
