It's time for the end of season Xtratime Primeira Liga awards. We will start with the voting for Coach of the Year.

After this, we'll also have votes for: Rookie of the Year, League MVP, Goalie of the year, and Best Foreign Player.

Boloni

Taking a huge gamble on Queresma and on Hugo and molding them into great players right away. Putting back the "D" to their defence this year with most of the same players , whom had a horrid 2001 campaign.


Rookie: Paulo Ferriera or Danny . If i had to choose one ; it would be , Danny.

League MVP: Joao Pinto because when jardel was absent due to some injuries at some piont during the season , Joao stepped up his game even somemore and took the scoring load upon himself in a very important stretch run for Sporting.

Boloni is coach of the year. He went with Babb instead of Beto in the middle and it paid off big time. Babb was without question the best Central defender this year in Portugal. Not only that he launched Viana and Quaresma. He also coached a very positive game. Pacheco would have gotten my vote, but I just hate his futebol style.
