Which club is sending most players to the World Cup? If supporters of each club could post the names of the players from their team who are in Japan/Korea, it might be interesting to draw up a league table, both overall and from each of the major leagues.

Arse! I cut and pasted all the squads from some World Cup site, trimmed everything but the club name and wrote a script to sort it by number of players per club, then accidentally overwrote the file with an empty one. So I guess we'll never know then.

Managed to recompile it without too much wasted effort, so I now have the full list of players, positions, squad numbers and clubs, plus a sorted list of the players and one of the clubs, so you can see at a glance which clubs are represented by whom.
If anyone wants a copy, let me know. It's handiest if you have linux or a windows bash program to search form the command line.

We had Shevchenko(Ukraine) and Contra(Romania) who just missed out on qualification, Serghino(Brasil) along with Ambrosini(Italy) just missed out on selection while Albertini(Italy) was sidelined with injury.

Umit(Turkey) left the club and Coco(Italy) is currently onloan so I didn't include them.
