I'm trying to compile as many football anthems as I can, for a website to be opened in the near future. If you could provide me with club songs, it would be much appreciated (ili na latinicom, ili na cirilicom, mi je isto :) ). Any club, any division is welcome - the more, the better! Post them here, or PM me with them. Thanks!

Here are some songs for Crvena Zvezda aka Red Star Belgrade

Crvena Zvezda retro anthem

Sve sto smo zeleli,
sve sto smo hteli,
to su nam dali crveno-beli

Mladici borovi, devojke jele,
bore se posteno
za crveno-bele

Hej, hej, hej, hej, hej
Crvena Zvezda na nebu sja, hej
Crvenu Zvezdu volim i ja
Crvena Zvezda to nas je tim

Hej Zvezda crvena, crvena
Hej, Zvezda, hej
Hej Zvezda crvena, crvena
Hej, Zvezda, hej

Zvezda song from Bajaga

Ajdemo svi da pevamo veselo,
kome je srce crveno i belo,
moja adresa Marakana sever,
Delija uvek i Red Star forever.
Zvezda je ime sampiona,
ima nas dvesta milijona,
zvezda je da se pamti dugo
pobeda, ili nista drugo.

Ref:2x
Zvezda, zvezda, zvezda
peva Marakana

Na moje nebo jedna zvezda sela,
ona je brate crvena i bela.
Ajdemo Bogu da se pomolimo,
da pevamo i da vas pobedimo.
Zvezda je ime sampiona,
ima nas dvesta milijona,
Zvezda je da se pamti dugo,
Pobeda, ili nista drugo.

Ref:2x
Zvezda, zvezda, zvezda
peva Marakana

Svi znaju gde je Topcidersko brdo,
Delije, sever, tamo gde je tvrdo,
na moje nebo jedna zvezda sela,
ona je brate.......

Funny you should say that, I've always held the opinion that "Ujpest is life, the rest only details" :)

But thanks for the texts. There are the two big teams down then. What would the odds be of finding any songs for smaller clubs? And defunct clubs (Pristina and whatnot). What happened to the Kosovo clubs, have they relocated and reformed elsewhere, or are they just...on a vacation of indeterminate length?

Well a few Kosovo clubs still compete in the SCG cup for example (Trepca K. Mitrovica - the predominantly Serbian part of the province, but their situation is poor). Some clubs you could say ceased to exist, most now play in the Albanian Kosovo league.

Andrija how is that legal? If those Kosovo clubs play in the Albanian league and say finish up on the table and qualify for the european games, they would represent Albania wouldn't they? But Kosovo is not Albania, not the last time I checked.

Nah I think you misunderstood him. They're part of a separate Kosovo based league that only involves ethnic Albanian teams. So not in Albania itself.

But in handball they're going to be recognized as an independant league and will get to send teams to Europe. Our FA reacted furiously, but it seems they can't stop it.

Club songs, well I don't know any, I might know about players and so on, but the singing is really my weakness, I guess I'm following football too much on TV, I won't sing in my living room by myself for sure

The best Zvezda song period

Dobro znaj da uvek tu sam ja
Dobr oznaj da necu nikada
Da te ostavim, da te zaboravim
Dobro znaj da uvek tu sam ja

Zvezdo znaj da ludo volim te,
Ja ne mogu dana bez tebe
Srce svoje sam spreman da ti dam
Sto za tebe ludo udara

Jednog dana, kada prodje sve
Kad me budu stigle godine
Znaj da nikada neci doci dan
Dan kad necu biti s' tobom ja

I te noci kada izdahnem,
Zadnje pivo za tebe popijem,
I na nebu tom na koje idem ja,
Sija moja Zvezda Crvena
I na nebu tom na koje idem ja,
Sija moja Zvezda Crvena

Ok. So do those teams like Flamurtari have anything to do with the old teams like FK Pristina, or are they new clubs? This was the main point of my question.

Handball...all I know about handball is that that's the only sport Hungary is good at anymore...and that Iceland is good too...

But...devil's advocate here: why shouldn't they recognise Kosovo, FIFA has recognised Palestine...

Well some of the teams might be new, others might've existed before but were probably in the very low divisions.

Palestine is in limbo: it's not part of Israel, but not recognized as a state. Kosovo is de jure still part of Serbia.

I agree with Andrija but i just have to add one more thing about this Kosovo has never been a country and Palestine once was and still is by the Arab world recognized as a country, so unless they unify with Albania(which is what Albanians want) and play in the Albanian league or come back and play in the Serbian league then i dont see FIFA ever recognizing a Kosovo league.

If Kosovo remains a part of Serbia (on paper or somehow in the clouds or with some "novel" EU solution on how to be a state within a state but not really) it will be like it was with the Bosnian leagues (used to be 3 separate ones), eventually they will have to come back into the fold or never play any UEFA games. If they separate, on the other hand...
