Did anyone here watch the Boca Lanus ??????

Hehehe When Cristian Fabbiani (His uncle is a very close friend of mine, also a great stikers in his heydays, Argentina Chile and the Old NASL) scored the equalizer for Lanus late in the 2nd half..he raised his burgundy jersey only to reveal the classic Palestino (Of Chile) insignia with the words "Grande Tino" above it !!!
This he said to the chilean papers was in remembrance of the year he spent in Chile and how Palestino "brougt" him back to playing football again....

He also added that he celebrated the goal as he is a fan of River...and what better celebration..than scoring on the Boesteros ???

:dielaugh:

Grande Cristian !!!!

Banfield win 12-minute match in Argentina

BUENOS AIRES, March 23 (Reuters) - Banfield moved off the bottom of the Argentine championship after beating Instituto 1-0 in a 12-minute match on Tuesday night.

The teams were completing a fixture which started on February 11 on the opening weekend of the Clausura championship but was interrupted in the 78th minute because of floodlight failure.

The Argentine Football Association ruled that the remainder of the game, which was goalless at the time, would be played Tuesday, divided into two halves of six minutes.

Midfielder Martin Andrizzi scored the only goal with one minute to play as Banfield moved up to 16th in the 20-team table with four points from six games.
