Cementeros vs Aguilas should be great. Also the Pachuca - Tigres will be worth watching. Another I wouldn't mind watching is the Necaxa - Santos.

Blanco reaches century for America

MEXICO CITY, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Volatile Mexican striker Cuauhtemoc Blanco scored his 100th league goal for America at the weekend but it was not enough to give the country's richest club their first win of the Clausura championship.

Blanco's 53rd minute goal earned the Eagles their second point in two games after Erick Marin had put the Cement Mixers ahead after 31 minutes of the match at the Azteca stadium.

In other matches, UNL and Pachuca, who clashed in a stormy final to the Apertura championship in December, played out a 3-3 draw.

Three UNL players are still serving suspensions from the December tie, which Pachuca won 4-3 on aggregate.

The Tigers, coached by Argentina's 1986 World Cup goalkeeper Nery Pumpido, raced to a 2-0 lead through Andres Silvera and Eduardo Rergis in only 19 minutes.

Gabriel de Anda pulled a goal back early in the second half before Javier Saavedra restored the Tigers' two-goal advantage but late strikes from Brazilian Claudinho and Gabriel Alvez earned Pachuca a point.

UNAM coach Hugo Sanchez was sent off in the 82nd minute for dissent as his team cruised to an easy 3-0 win over Atlas.

David Toledo and Jaime Lozano scored twice within ten minutes in the first half and Argentine Bruno Marioni added the third with two minutes left.

Match Week 2 Wrap

Toluca 2-1 Chiapas

The Diablos Rojos of Toluca saw off the challenge of a determined Chiapas squad to climb atop Group One. All three goals of the match were scored by Toluca's Jose Manuel Abundis who was picked up during the winter break. Abundis put Toluca on top in the 5th minute and later tied the match for Chiapas with an own goal in the 60th minute. Abundis would complete his hat trick in the 90th minute scoring the winning goal for Toluca.

Cruz Azul 1-1 America

Club America played its second consecutive derby as they visited cross town rivals Cruz Azul. The match played at Estadio Azul failed to live to expectations as both settled for the one goal draw. Erick Marin opened the scoring for Cruz Azul while Cuauhtemoc Blanco tied the match for America. Blancos goal was his 100th league goal.

Guadalajara 1-0 Atlante

Chivas of Guadalajara hanged on to a one goal lead to secure their second straight victory of the season. A goal from defender Hector Reynoso in the 72nd minute was enough to defeat the Potros of Atlante which have been on a four game losing streak. Chivas are now atop Group Four with six points while Atlante remain at the bottom with zero points.

Tigres 3-3 Pachuca

The Tuzos of Pachuca returned to Estadio Universitario to once again victimize the Tigres faithful. The Tuzos have lifted two Mexican League championships at said venue. This time it appeared as if Tigres was finally set to beat Pachuca but the Tuzos managed to pull in two late goals to tie the match.

Necaxa 2-2 Santos Laguna

Necaxa managed to salvage a draw at home against Santos with a last minute goal from Jose Tabares. Mexican international Jared Borgetti scored his 200th league goal in the 79th minute to put Santos momentarily on top. The Argentine Tabares however scored the tying goal in the 90th minute. The two goal tie leaves Necaxa in second place of Group four while Santos stays at the bottom of Group Two.
