Over the next week and a bit we will be seeing some dramatic events surely. At this stage last season Man U were lucky to escape from Rome with an away goal, but a week later totally ripped a new hole into AS bit of Roma. Milan were also knocking out Bayern Munich. Can it be a coincedence that Barcelona play a German team? and could have 3 English teams in the SF, similar to Milan... maybe so, maybe not... on barca's form, they must watch out for Schalke though, not as easy as they may expect.
In any case this years QFs should be a good watch. Probably most intriguing is Roma - Man Utd... but certainly the All english clash is being hyped up, particularly on these shores.
I am betting on 4 draws for the first games. lets see.

Arsenal is a dream team sponsorship and marketing wise, or if they arent they should be (they prolly are, earning most money apparently with Real). They play in a fashion pretty much all the neautral viewers enjoy. Plus they are a bigger club then Chelsea obviously even if the latter is filthy rich.Money talks.
So I dont think its remotely about UEFA prefering a soul eating big game of Pool and Chelski. If the logic is they earn lots of money by getting lots of advertising from the games, they should do everything in their power to make sure Arsenal advances so they can showcase marketable football.

What a great match! Liverpool entirely deserves to be in the semi finals as it was the best team in the sum of both games. For all the quality that Arsenal have in their squad they still don't manage to match people like Gerrard and Torres.

And there is no way Arsenal would win any title playing like they have lately still, even if its a extremely harsh way to go out in. It will do you good to have failed in CL and league again, naive ****ing Wenger needs to frigging learn he has to bulk up his squad depth like Man U have, and most importantly have extremely deadly player like Torres instead of an erratic Ade (better for 2-3rd striker, not prime one) and in general an ineffective core of players who can be bullied out of the ball when faced by a proper defence.
