Over the next week and a bit we will be seeing some dramatic events surely. At this stage last season Man U were lucky to escape from Rome with an away goal, but a week later totally ripped a new hole into AS bit of Roma. Milan were also knocking out Bayern Munich. Can it be a coincedence that Barcelona play a German team? and could have 3 English teams in the SF, similar to Milan... maybe so, maybe not... on barca's form, they must watch out for Schalke though, not as easy as they may expect.

In any case this years QFs should be a good watch. Probably most intriguing is Roma - Man Utd... but certainly the All english clash is being hyped up, particularly on these shores.

I am betting on 4 draws for the first games. lets see.

Just boycott the Liverpool -Chelsea match. Why bother.
You cannot give an easy penalty like that a few minutes from time to allow another side to win. You just can't. If Babel cannot withstand a little brush such as that he has no business in the Premiership, let alone football in general.

I just don't know what's more annoying. This match or the match in 2005 with the phantom goal.
I don't understand why anybody would want a Chelsea - Liverpool quarterfinal. Anybody can see that has been the worst two leg affair in Europe for the past four years. Not good for UEFA, not good for football in general.
Money talks.
The Americans and the Russians are certainly good at making things happen in world politics.
Regardless, any arguments about cheating over what is at worst a debateable decision are ridiculous. If Toure isn't being a retard (and I've been one of the biggest Toure supporters on here over the years), then there's no decision to make.
... and no money to be paid.
I meant more in terms of money going into the hands of UEFA from Mr. Abramovich and the Americans ;)
Yeah, I know.

...says the Juve fan
Says the... irrelevant.
No idea how one can say Liverpool deserved to go through. Totally ridiculous. Arsenal was clearly the better team in the first leg and there really was not much between the two sides at Anfield tonight. It's a shame that the ties were corrupted due to inconsistencies in refereeing, and even more of a shame that it's led to the same old fixture between two teams that bore the hell out of practically 99.9% of all people who watch the matches. Placing 9 men behind the ball at all times is where football continues to go. There are really no surprises anymore in the Champions League apart from crap such as phantom goals or phantom penalties that seem to always go in favor of Liverpool. Who knows why exactly, but they really are a side that bore the hell out of you and seem to receive the calls because of their prestige as a club. Perhaps that's not the reason, but I just do not understand all of these phantom calls or noncalls.

Liverpool to win the entire trophy, beating Manchester United.

De Rossi? Overrated player with a lot of heart.
If you look closely Brown did catch the foot of Mancini. it was weak, but there was contact on the foot.
Whether or not it was a penalty, who knows, who cares. Just change the rules and let the ref decide whether a player can be blown down by the wind and punish the other team because of mother nature.
Roma is toothless in midfield. Manure would probably be up 4-0 if they had their first team of show offs out there.
