Over the next week and a bit we will be seeing some dramatic events surely. At this stage last season Man U were lucky to escape from Rome with an away goal, but a week later totally ripped a new hole into AS bit of Roma. Milan were also knocking out Bayern Munich. Can it be a coincedence that Barcelona play a German team? and could have 3 English teams in the SF, similar to Milan... maybe so, maybe not... on barca's form, they must watch out for Schalke though, not as easy as they may expect.

In any case this years QFs should be a good watch. Probably most intriguing is Roma - Man Utd... but certainly the All english clash is being hyped up, particularly on these shores.

I am betting on 4 draws for the first games. lets see.

Shalke 0 - 2 Barca

Roma 1 - 2 Man U
Roma's so crafty and clever with their passing game it's incredible.
In terms of quality football. Barca-ManU Arsenal-Fener would be my preffered semifinal.
Congrats Fener.

As usual Liverpool are outplayed but manage to get the result. MoM was Flamini I guess. Eboue was absolutely atrocious, get rid of this guy right now Wenger.
Imagine Chelsea are out :proud:
Them and Liverpool are buzzkilling everyone. Whoopdy doo, a Chelsea-Liverpool semi-final. :rollani:
Chelsea 3 -1 Fener
Arsenal 1 - 1 Liveprool ( Arsenal on pk's.)
Cambs, look at Chelsea's home record in all competitions, they're not easy to beat in SB.
Yeaaa! Great build up and it's football 1 anti football 0.
Arsenal looked very good in the beginning but Liverpool held their nerves and imo have been the better side overall in the first half.

Once you put pressure on Arsenal in the midfield their technical players shut down.
Liverpool were the better side but a horrible penalty call, especially in a moment like that.
Malcini with a brilliant dive, De Rossi misses a penalty
Watch it again, 100% penalty.
How does the ref explain to his bosses he thinks thats a penalty when you can clearly see the tackle from the side sends the ball travelling to the side... he was right there watching it. Refs are so rubbish these days. The Toure one was soft, this was... just weird.
OMG. Weird? Brown nails his foot and that's what sends the ball travelling.
United have got Roma firmly in their pockets, the most one sided quarter final this year, and probably in recent memory. They don't look like they'd succeed in a hundred tries.
Roma looks better so far, great combination play.
:googly::googly::googly:
Look at Roma's one touch passing, it's excellent. They've been the better side.

Watch the replay. Brown connects with Mancini's foot before anything, is everyone on here blind or what?
You have just lost any credibility you may have had. How can you humanly say that that was a penalty? Even the most die-hard anti-united fans say it was a dive. Or is this just a big WUM?
It's a penalty because Brown connects with Mancini's foot first! For fvcks sake.
Are you people retarded or what? When you tackle a player you have to win the ball CLEANLY, otherwise it's a foul. 100% penalty that wasn't converted so it doesn't matter anyway.
Well I am only judging from the highlights, but United's reserve team created about 6-7 chances, and Roma missed a penalty and had a long distance effort just before.

Combination play doesn't mean anything without end product. I reckon it could've been another 7-1 drubbing with Ronaldo there.
Roma's had dangerous runs in the box, they've been more creative and composed, imo the better side.
Whoever says that Mancini dove is mentally challenged. I'd like to se eone of you get tackled from the side liek that and not fall down. Use common sense.
Seriously get glasses:dielaugh:
What are you? Stupid? Look at Roma's one touch combination play and patience on the ball. They go through the middle where as Manu were all about the wing play.
And what is wrong with wingplay:googly:, em it is a game of football after all...

I'm still yet to see Roma carve us open like we did to them on that Hargreaves, Giggs, Park chances.
We're talking about creativity aren't we? Roma's going through the middle with give and go's because they have more creativity than Man United in this match.
