I just hope we play Walcott on the right from the start cant be doing with seeing Eboue on the right of midfield again it does not work at all.

its going to be 1-1 isn't it . Pens could well decide this one.

Id be surprised if Crouch started in a 4-4-2 as Torres and Gerrard have been playing really well of late so putting in Crouch could upset that balance they found so I cant see it happening.

Cesc needed a rest on Saturday you cuold tell he was tired only hope he has recovered in time cos without Rosicky, RVP all our creativity comes through him (and Hleb when on song).

I still cant really see who will go through I think its gonna be a score draw tho... possibly extra time needed.

I dunno if I d play Senderos I have a feeling he could have problems with the pace and directness of Torres. Id stick with Gallas & Toure in the middle and Eboue at RB.

all I can say is bullshit. last week Hleb gets fouled no pen this week same thing happens (even less of a penalty claim) and its given and at such a moment in the game if they scored it was over. Referees being consistant ? absolute shite.

cant blame any of the players today

It was a penalty if I'm going to be truthful at the Emirates but Babel didn't dive he got impeded by Toure who tripped him then tugged his shirt while touching his shoulder he lost momentum and fell.

It is a standard procedure penalty same way our players didn't trip Walcott like Babel he was picking up pace as he go into the box if anyone touches Walcott or Babel its a penalty.

Simple you didn't get a call and we did but even with the call we would have won 4-3 and thats if your penalty take wouldn't bottle the penalty.
standard procedure penalty like we should of had last week you mean oh yeh thats right... we didnt get it. so thats two calls not one we got f*cked on.

thats crap sayin you would have won 4-3 when it went to 2-2 do you think we would have thrown everyone forward ? no ... we had to because of the penalty and we needed to score so there was basically no one defending at the back.

AW: "It is difficult to take, the players in the dressing room are very down because they believe week after week the decisions are going against them."
well hes correct the two biggest calls in the two legs went agaisnt us. And before I get any Pool fans saying oh thats cos you lost etc etc... funny how we have fans of clubs who dont support either team that are saying we got cheated by the decisions...

over the two legs the better team lost guess thats football.

I could take it if we had gone there and got battered 3-0 or something but when we are out based on a crap referreeing decisons its hard to take.

It is so hard to accept why all these key decisions go against us. It's the difference between a decent shot at a trophy or going home with nothing. It's really devastating. I can't stop thinking about it.
true, when you win the league or a cup you have certain moments when decisons go your way and when luck is on your side. Seems we havent had much of either this season.

god the media write ups this morning literally w*nking themselves off over Liverpool... ffs they were minutes frm going out when they get their dodgy decision anyone would think we needn't have bothered turning up...

'When the noise had subsided, the victors and vanquished departed, when Anfield was at last silent, empty and still, the question remained: why? What was it that possessed a defender as experienced as Kolo Touré to take fright, to be so terrified at the prospect of lasting just six minutes at this remarkable arena that he should give away the penalty that cost his team the game and the dream of a first Champions League crown?

'And the answer will come back: it was Liverpool. It was this club, this particular team, and what they have come to represent in Europe. Touré was disturbed by the legend of a Liverpool who will not lie down, who return from the dead like The Shape in John Carpenter's Halloween films. Remember that scene in the pitch-black bedroom when the monster rises again, his white mask all that is visible in the darkness? On nights such as this, Liverpool are like that: unstoppable, remorseless, their power inexplicable' - Martin Samuel, The Times.
utter shite
