As "Usual" the Chilean Federation has come up with the assinine idea of scratchinn the Clausura and going right into the 2002/2003 Season ????

For Why ??? Only them fools know about it !!! :googly:

The Chilean Federation is run by a bunch of monkeys, no doubt about it. Until those morons get out of Chilean soccer, we wont have a good tourney or national team.

BTW, supposedly they are getting rid of the Clausura so that the teams can fire or sell (most likely fire, I would say) their players without having to pay them for the rest of the year. It's unfair and wrong. But what can we expect from the monkeys?

Colo, do you know of any good place to keep up with the 2nd. Division? It's usually more interesting that the 1st anyways, even with the new tourney set-up. I'd explain it, but it would take me forever.

I don't really have a favorite team in the Segunda, but I do have tendencies towards the Southern teams. I would like to see U. De Conce in the 1st. division one of these days. And Being a Conce fan, I usually root against Vial even though a good part of my family are huge Fernadez Vial fans. While I have no faves in la Segunda, I do follow the 3rd. tier to see how my hometown Iberia is doing. They're close to making it to la segunda, if they do, i'll be ecstatic.

Everton should be back up by now, what's going on with that team? it doesn't make any sense.

$$ $$ $$ I was in Chile, the last time for 21 days, in june and july 2000.
I went a very cold nite to the Sausalito to see Everton (They were in 1st that year) blow a 2x0 lead against Huachipato in front of a measly 1,500 to 2,000 people, with those figures they could even pay the light bill for the game...
A week later I went to Plata Ancha to see almost the same Wanderers that less than 2 years later would become Champions ...A beautifully sunny but cold sunday afternoon game, 1PM.. No more than 8 thousand fans !!

Chile's Teams, all with the xception of Catolica.....are one payroll away from bankruptcy !!!

U de Chile following in the steps of Colo-Colo (They always do that in every respect ;) ) will be deemed bankrupt in a few days, as per news coming out of Chile.
They copy everything the Eternal Champ does...they never want to be any less than us...
