"It matters not if you win or lose, but how you play the game."

...as long as I see Overmars making a fool of Salgado like on tuesday, the invisible Raul (like on tuesday) and the whole Real Madrid playing like some bunch of sissies that they really are and create chances from counterattacks like a Division 3 of the Albanian league, I'll be content.

If Osasuna managed to beat them 3:1, I don't see why we shouldn't. The only thing that they have and we don't is LUCK and even some of the stupider Merengues (who should recognize themselves in spite of their retardness) should admit that.
invisible Raul (like on tuesday)

I'm not sure which Raul you we're looking at, but he setup the first goal for Zidane. I wouldn't call that invisible.
It is possible to be invisible despite giving an assist
Real Madrid played a counter attacking game simple than that. I would say that Barca played overall better, but not smarter. So, naturally, players such as Raul only momentarily came out of the shadows to show their brilliance whenever RM would surge forward on a counter attack, the rest of the game was spent mostly defending and preventing Barca from accomplishing anything.
at home Real would like to finish off Barca as soon as possible. we have to catch them off guard. and score the first goal.. this would really pump our player sup... but we also have to keeep in mind that we dont concede any goal..... we have to win it with a goal difference.....a two goal difference would be great.......
the league game is next we have to win it to get our confidence back......but we failed to win three consicutive matches this season so i dont know wether we can be that confident or not..

Smarter? Don't fool yourself man, just because real Madrid won doesn't mean that they played smarter. If Kluivert and Luis Enrique put their chances away you would be talking that Real Madrid played too defensively...in the Real Madrid forum, of course:D
The only thing that would make me happy is somebody (preferrably Rocky ;)) injuring Solari, so that sissy finally has a valid reason for for all his whining on the ground.

A quick goal and nothing´s lost yet.
yes, it is quite annoying to see a player with the ability of solari always throwing himself on the ground. He needs to be more like his compatriot Redondo, small frame but strong and sturdy. No one likes a diver, even if he's on your team. Antifutbol is what i'd call it. anyways, the key is an early goal, get the merengues thinking about what a huge failure it would be if they don't qualify after getting such a fortunate result in first leg. Doubt will set in, the nerves will rise and then Barca will have their best chance to win the game. Please, NO SLOW DEFENDERS!!!! We'll have to take risks so that means playing with less at the back. Best combination would have been Reizeger, Puyol, and Coco just to contain counterattacks. Question, how much better would this Barca have been with a healty ANDERSON? I guess we will never know.
Yes, we need quick defenders, but we also need somene who can organize the defence and who can link to the midfield. I know that De Boer is not in the best form, but I can't see anybody in our squad whoi is available and that culd do his role. My defence against Madrid would be Puyol, De Boer and Coco.
I guess we have no other choice than de boer. Too bad Anderson is not available yet. It's time for this club to have a strong midfielder in front of the defense who can break up plays and win balls. God knows that our central defense is one of the weakest in the world so we need someone to break plays. I guess Christanval could be another option, but when he came on the other day, he looked more lost than a bastard on father's day!! What do you guys think about the possibility of lining Geovanni from the start? May be a good spark to the offense!
I don't think he will be played initially. In fact one of these three players Saviola, PK and Overmars, will be dropped from the starting line up, as I expect Xavi to start in this game, and I doubt very much that Rexach will drop Fabio, Motta or Cocu for that game. If we play with three at the back we need a strong midfield, and the strongest I can think is with Cocu in the middle and Motta and Fabio flanking the Dutch. Xavi will be played slightly more advanced a bit like against Liverpool in Anfield. My bet is that Saviola will be dropped, and Overmars, Kluivert and Lucho will form the attack.
I would rather see Overmars dropped than Saviola, but that's obvious. One good thing with Overmars is that we create some width in our game.
As promised this time I'll bet different ...

We'll win it 4:2 ... because I had a dream the night before the match in Barcelone where we had to win by two in Bernabeu and we won 4:2 with Rivaldo scoring two. I thought that's nonsence ... why should we need a 2-goal win at Bernabeu but now it all makes a sence. ;)
Damn Bier, that sure could be match of the season.... and the last couple of seasons aswell :D. But as much as I hope you're right, that sounds terribly unlikely in my ears :depress:.

I'm hoping we can qualify for some CL action, and else I'm mainly thinking of getting a good coach for next season :).
Same opinion here, DBOY ... but hope is the last to die! ;)
So true Bier, SO true :).

A good example of this is, and I'll tell it short so you won't be bored ;), on my club FC København. By the winter break, we were 10 points behind, and the press had given the championship to Brøndby already. Now, with a few rounds left, one of those being a home game against...Brøndby :D, we can actually decide it ourself, and on top of that we've gotten to the Cup Final. Some of a transition year :). And my point? Well, I believed in it, even when we were 10 points behind, and look where we are now :).

Let's hope we'll be as lucky with Barça!
I want Barca to go through SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much... :(
The CL would mean so much to Catalunya and all the Barca fans... come on, guys, make those people proud please! :proud:

What did you expect? 1st leg, Camp Nou, semi-finals of CL against arch-rivals, we would come to attack non-stop? We played defense. And our so called "sh!t defence" was stopping you. All you did was shoot long range. Yeah we played too defensivly, and we beat you. So how good does that make your team?:D

Yeah, believe it or not we were smarter, or 'tactically superior' whatever you want to call it. We will always be when Rexach is your coach.

BTW, are you tired of defensive football? I'm sure you'll see a beautifull game from us at Bernabeu, at home. We did it to Bayern who are heavinly stronger than your team:)

Good luck mates:)

How desperate some people are... of course he meant Raul Bravo, who was back in Madrid with the B team. smart ol' dadoaldo thought (if you can call it that way) that bringing up his absence would somehow discredit our victory, and make defeat sweeter.
See any logic in this?

No, I don't either actually.
