The German based International Federation of Football History and Statistics has voted Petr Cech the second best goalkeeper in the world during 2004.
He has risen from tenth in 2003 to take his place behind the winner both times, Juventus’ Gianluigi Buffon.

it is a great achievment for cech to finish second in a list such as that and to come second to buffon is no shame at all. he beat dida and casillas for the second spot and they are class keepers. i think he will win it in a couple of years if not next year.
