Really pleasure to see him play last few weeks. Def best performance by far in Turkey, and at Galatasaray. Tonight, he was basically toying with Herta. That two moves he did after we scored a goal ( next to corner flag )... :howler:

This guy is true player. He isn't ordinary Attacking midfielder, much more than that. Only thing I would like to see him have is finishing. His passes, movement, off the ball, dribbling, all top class.

i would say last couple of games, i would say last 2-3 months. he has been excellent. a top top player. unfortunately he has a turkish mind and can get affect by his surroundings which can affect his game. He is does that have the professional mentality that the world class players have.


However i love his playing style!!

Hopefully those rumors of Lokomotiv aren't true. And if they are, shame on any one in their right mind (footballing mind or corporate miind) to even suggest that all he's worth is 7 million euros. He's finally finding his rhythm and of all places he's going to go to Russia? I hope to God it isn't true... but seeing the types of players that are going to this new money league, it may not be such a surprise after all. Let's face it. Even some of Turkiye's good players (Fatih Tekke, Gokdeniz Karadeniz) are earning their living in Russia (who would have thought that Russia would be a destination ten years ago?). He has played 83 games(including a 5 match ban in his last season) for schalke in 3 seasons. He isnt as injury-phrone as people make him to be, I admit he was injured alot last season but this season he hasnt been injured so far and played about every game, unless he was rested.

I wouldnt sell Lincoln for 10, never mind 7. It took us 8 years to find a decent replacement for Hagi. We wont find another player of his class for that position that easy, not even for 10 million.

If you see the prices some clubs pay for certain players... Is Sneijder 3 times better then Lincoln - as he's been sold for around 30 millions - ? He's not, Lincoln's a more technical player and is more gifted, its just the hype.

I think 10 mil is a fair price for Linc. We bought him for 5.5 because he wanted to leave, Schalke didnt want to sell him at first.

Lets see how he finishes the season, it's true this year he hasn't been injured, and he's been playing fairly well. lincoln was very streaky in his time spent with schalke, and I don't think he has the personality or level of professionalism to perform game in and game out. You're right so far this he's been good, started a little slowly but has picked it up now. To be honest I would take the 7 mil, and if I were offered 10 mil I'd take it and run...

I don't think he's replaced hagi, I don't think anyone could really replace hagi, but you're right as of the last 5 or 6 weeks he's been performing well, but is that 5 or 6 weeks enough to declare his value at 10 million?

lincoln is more gifted and technical, but who's the better player? I mean here's where that level of professionalism and consistency is crucial, and that makes Sneijder the far superior player...
