Pretty bad, and 4 of those 5 games are against pretty easy opposition we should look to batter (the 5th is Milan away..), but I have no idea who on earth is going to score for us.

Well he had it coming, his behaviour was disgraceful and now both he and club are paying the price.

He'll never learn it seems.

He's going to miss the games against Parma, Catania, Milan, Cagliari and Empoli.

Also, the Italian FA have fined him £11,000.

What a buffoon :wallbang: Talk about letting his team down...

Cassano Is No Champion – Samp Director
Sampdoria sporting director Giuseppe Marotta says that Antonio Cassano is not a champion yet, and has a number of character flaws that he needs to address.

The notoriously volatile Cassano exploded yesterday afternoon as he went berserk after being sent off against Torino, hurling abuse and throwing his shirt at the referee.

“He’s a great player, but Cassano isn’t a champion yet,” Marotta told Radio Anch’io Sport.

“We give him all the blame – there’s nothing else to say. Cassano is rehabilitating himself well, but he has big character flaws.

“We are looking at a player who is 25-years-old and Samp’s gamble has really paid off, but Cassano needs to understand that even with our help his career could be tainted.”

Cassano is now likely to be handed a length ban following his misbehaviour. This could really penalise Sampdoria, who are clearly not the same team when the forward is not playing.

“All we can do is await the ban and call for a hefty fine,” Marotta continued.

“If he is banned for four games then he will lose 20 days’ wages, which in Cassano’s case is a tidy sum.

“Nonetheless, we can’t just make repressive measures against a lad who is capable of delighting the fans.

“He has made mistakes, but so have so many of the games greats in the recent past.”

More than deserved. And to be sincere I feared that the ban could be even longer. He could be sent off in almost every game he played and I have underlined it. He reacted in the same bad way even in the past when getting a red card and he has not improved at all from this point of view.

its really annoying 2 see him do his "act" ............ dose comments made by marotta cud make him leave us i fear ............
Cassano is the one who should be worried right now. What he did is the clear evidence of the fact that his attitude is not improved at all. What club could be interested in investing on a troublemaker? Surely not the club he hopes (Inter...). Infact there is no reason for Inter to buy a player who could destabilize a very strong team.
