Can Henry make it now in Italy, Serie A?

i've seen his kind of goals,, not applicable in the serie a imo . :shades:

he can sprint and all, but i think he cant make these kind of dribbils in the toughest league in the world.

so guys, what do u think?

Yes, he can make it in Italy now. It's coming from his biggest critic on this board. That won't take away the fact that he won't choke in the big Serie A encounters where the pressure is intense. His scoring rate will go down compared to England.

Well, there are successful forwards in Serie A that can't touch Henry
i never saw Adriano/Sheva/Montella/Cassano in the EPL ;)

probably not..the EPL is different than serie A in terms of the pace of the game..etc henry's style suits the EPL but not the italian leagues

He has the quality to be good anywhere, he just needs some time to adjust - just like most decent footballers. His style can adapt, he has the experience and the natural factors of the game to do well there, so yes.

Yes, he can.
Maybe the question should be : can Henry score 25+ goals in serie A every season? Or can his goal ratio in Serie A reach 0.8+?

If Gilardino can score 16 goals, what makes people think Henry would struggle to score?

I remember he scored a hat-trick against Roma in the CL and added two more against Inter in that 5-1 win at the San Siro last season.

He would easily score 20+ goals in Italy.

He was a winger in a league where no teams play with wingers.

As a striker of course he can make it, he's the best in the world.

Sheva and Adriano are better.

Gilardino is a pure forward. And the best one of the new Italian generation.
I am not taking anything away from Gilardino, who is a special talent, but I am just saying, people should show more respect for Thierry Henry.

How on Earth anybody can vote "no" in this pool is beyond me. Are they either stupid or just ignorant?

Henry would rip apart the likes of Livorno and Brescia, and he's already shown in the Champions League that he can score against the likes of Inter and Roma.

Who would stop him in Italy?

This is a no brainer, Unless something really went wrong I don't see why he wouldn't be a top 3 SerieA goalscorer in a top 3 SerieA club.

No Henry is in the easiest league in the world, he looks like a star there.
He plays in the SPL on the sly?

How many goals has Forlan scored in rock hard La Liga again? :)
