England defender Sol Campbell
said he'll stay at Tottenham next season, ending speculation he's joining Manchester United in the summer.
Campbell, whose contract expires in a year's time, said he would begin negotiations for a long-term agreement.
If he's unable to agree a new contract, he could leave on a free transfer at the end of the 2000-01 season, denying Spurs a multi-
million-pound fee.
Newspapers have linked Manchester United and several Italian clubs linked with a move for the 26-year-old central defender, who joined Tottenham as a trainee and is the club's captain.
