Well we are used to move around ... But as far as I understood it ...

There are two importants things which must be fullfilled ...

1st
Madrid must host the Olympic games

2nd
The city must give a big place to Atléti ...
Where we can build a new stadium in the future and a new soccer shool.

As long as Cerezo and Gil will hold the most shares ... the money will go to their black bankaccounts, not to the club!

Can anyone tell me how concrete this plans still are?

Will it definitely go ahead and will Atlético move to La Peineta?

If so, when?

Also, what's the reason, are Atlético still in debt?

It must be hard to leave the Calderon as it's where the roots of the club lay, next to the Manzanares river and the stadium is ok for a club like Atlético. I think La Peineta with 73000 seats would be way too big, don't you agree?

a) I am not understanding the project (anymore) So I am not able to help you out!

b) We are deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep in debts. ~350 Million Euros.

c) It is not hard it is the only chance the club might get to play in a new stadium and to get back on the track. With the Calderón (which is a great stadium) you are not avle to compete with big clubs anymore.

Is there no official news or planning from the club towards this?

Nobody knows ... there was a time in which this project was pushed quite hard ... but since one or two years nothing happened.

I was in Madrid at "La Peineta" nothing looks like there is going to be sth. in the future. Nothing!

Also nothing around the Calderon except Mahou who are doing a bit (also not much) on their property.

Very, very strange if you ask me!

That's why I asked, because it doesn't seem to be in use soon. Wikipedia says Atlético will go there in 2013 but I doubt if that's a reliable source.
Couldn't find anything official...

I am with you ... I also highly doubt it. BUT this is the official (last) information.

We, the fans, are also curios to get more information.
