So it finally looks as if they've both gone. No more elections in the middle of August when only Nuñez's elderly followers are in the city,no more Fujimori tactics (the opposition will have acces to the census for the first time in twenty years), no more Barça 2000 project, which would have ripped the heart out the Les Corts area, no more divided club and most importantly, no more Van Gaal. We've had to put up with 3 years of sterile, cheque book football, we've seen Luis Enrique, Guardiola, Roger, Oscar, Amunike, even Frank De Boer humiliated in public. In many matches we've had to wait more than half an hour for Barça to attack for the first time, we've seen VG drinking champagne in the Royal Tennis Club after painful defeats, we've seen two home grown players: Santamaria and Nano cross more balls in two matches than two other costly wingers all season and we've had to put up with VG on TV daily insulting and blaming the press after his own failiures. Depor have the league but the real winners are Barça followers everywhere. Yipee!
