Pavel Srnicek has made a final decision over his future by signing for Brescia.

Srnicek was free to leave Sheffield Wednesday, also interested Metz, Napoli and a number of clubs on the continent, but he has opted to move to Serie A side.

Napoli were close to an agreement with Srnicek, and there were some claims that a deal had been done between the two parties, yet it was Brescia who won the chase by securing Srnicek's signature on a three-year contract.

The former Newcastle keeper added to his reputation with some solid performances in Euro 2000 for his country, and he is sure to add some stability to his new club's back-line.
