Read in Calciomercato that Milan are back in charge for Rivaldo. And they are very reliable unlike others!

Here's the link:http://www.sportal.it/football/news/article/0,5081,102365,00.htmlRivaldo al Milan: conto alla rovescia

Which basically means that Rivaldo at Milan could be just a matter of days if not hours! Some very close sources to the player say that Milan may have already obtained the player;s consent and may be on his way to also obtain the consent of the Catalan Giants.
Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani, will fly to Spain where after having sealed the deal with Redondo of Real, will go to Barcelona in order to launch the official offer chase of the brasilian playmaker. Milan have prior to that given the green lights to Barca for Gerard with whom Milan had already obtained the the consent for the following season and may also may be on their way of giving the green lights for the Catalan giants for the argentinean playmaker Riquelme. The Rossonero executive will meet with Joan Gaspart, the newly elected Barca president where they will both seal the deal about Rivaldo.
In fact, the two sides have been discussing all this for quite some time now. At first that possibility was in a way shattered by the sudden and unexpected transfer of Figo to bitter rivals Real. However, in the last hours the scenario has radically changed. And the big signing of Milan may well be Rivaldo.
Again, based on Spanish sources, it is highly possible that the transfer can be officially announced at the beginning of next week. In order to replace Figo and Rivaldo, Barca will direct their mercato efforts on Gerard (who has already been signed) and Riquelme (after Milan's green lights!) now are also looking very closing at Aimar and Saviola, two other great young Argentineans and at Petit and Overmars from Arsenal. In the last few days, the transfer season has really reserved us some spectacular signigs and its not about to finish yet...

So anyone close to Barca or Milan that can add anything on that?

Forza Rivaldo Rossonero!

Great :( ! Riquelme for Rivaldo. They can take Gerard, we don't need him, but Riquelme or Gallardo would come near my understandings of a playmaker, and we obviously need such.

I'm skeptical since San Siro 1 started this thread :))), but I have heard Milan and Rivaldo mentioned in the same sentence many times in recent weeks. La Gazzetta has had him on Milan's list for weeks. Maybe this is one San Siro 1 thread that pans out! :D We can always use a huge star like him, although his star doesn't seem to shine so bright since he won the World Player honor. Hopefully that's just a clash with Van Gaal and not his crappy attitude.

Just check the official site at the "Sfogliando i quoditiani
and you'll see that is a general feeling that the deal may be done in the next days and could be officially announced by tuesday or wednesday of next week.

Well San Siro now I'd ask you for the big favor to give me more on that matter since from this link I only understood that we are waiting for Barcelona to say "si".

IN short, Milan will pay around 100 Billion Lira (50 MUS$) for Rivaldo who may be announced at the beginning of next week by Tuesday or Wednesday. You can also check it on Marca's page (Marca is the main sport paper of Spain just like La Gazzetta) at http://marca.recoletos.es/00/07/28/28rivaldo_fm.html

This is from Marca which means:
Milan wants Rivaldo and Rivaldo wants Milan and it only needsd that Barca says yes has reported Rivaldo's agent last night at the Santiago Bernabeu (Real's stadium).

Its getting CLOSER AND CLOSER...

I DREAM OF A GREAT BRASILIAN PLAYMAKER...AND SO DOES BERLUSCONI...

Well, everyone first say no but then say yes!:):):)
That's what really counts...and especially if the player really wants to come like Rivaldo wants...so next week we'll know for sure...hopefully he'll come.
