Mark Bosnich is being lined up for a quick move out of Manchester United to either Italy or France.
The Aussie keeper is being trailed by Roma, who wanted him last summer, and Monaco, who sold £7.8million Fabien Barthez to United last week.
Bosnich, 28, has vowed to see out the remaining three years of his £7.5million Old Trafford contract unless he is allowed to leave on a free transfer.
But he is bound to come under intense pressure to settle his future if he fails to dislodge Barthez as United's first-choice.
Roma came in for Bosnich before he joined United on a free transfer from Aston Villa a year ago.
