I wonder who'll play and who won't play against the scummiest team not from Manchester or Fulham? Eboue will probably play, and Gilberto might get some playing time

What's even better is we're back to playing in a real cup competition that's not overrated and not tinpot

the most important match since the semi-final last year :proud:

good to see we didn't pick up any injuries tonight, would have been stupid to risk tacking with a BIG cup game coming up on Saturday.

nice that Fabregas was rested as well, he will be chomping at the bit to get stuck into this game.

I reckon we will win comfortable, we always rise to the big GAMES !!!

probable team:

Almunia
Eboue Kolo Senderos Clichy
Ljunberg Vieira Flamini Pires
Reyes Bergkamp

Other possibilities:
Lauren and Cole may play instead of clichy and eboue.
Ljunberg may be rested with clichy going to left midfield.
Quincy may play upfront instead of reyes

I hope Wenger doesn't underestimate this match by fielding under-strength squad. Because this is our last hope to end the season with a title. This is Bolton we faced, it's never an easy match against them any day.

I wish Henry play. :(

Exactly! We must take it more than serious! As you said it's our only title chance left, there's no room for faking arround! :boxing: Lets win the damn thing! :strong:

Too bad Henry is out, he seemed to be back on track. :irritate:

I think we will play the strongest possible side apart from Almunia playing.

-----------Almunia
Ralph----Kolo---Sendo---Ash
Fred----Flam---Paddy---Bob
--------Den
--------------Quincy

Eboue
Clichy
Fab
Reyes
RvP

Just like we had no Henry and won at OT against Man United in the cup, right?
Just like we had no Henry and won against Chelsea in the cup, right?

Keep trying though, one day you might succeed.

It's embarrassing how clueless you are:

5th round
February 15 2003 vs Manchester United (a) 2-0 (1-0)
Scorers: Edu 34, Wiltord 52
Team: Seaman, Lauren, Campbell, Keown, Cole; Vieira, Edu, Parlour, Pires (van Bronckhorst 84); Jeffers (Henry 73), Wiltord (Toure 90)
Subs not used: Cygan, Warmuz
Booked: Vieira
Attendance: 67209
Ref: Jeff Winter (Cleveland)

Note the date and the times the goals were scored, and Henry's time when he came onto the pitch.

Against Manchester United.
In a knockout tournament.
At Old Trafford.

Yeah, just a match. Give up now before you make a real tart of yourself.

we beat them at Old Trafford as well when we won the title with no Bergkamp or Henry. ;)

we beat Chelsea 3-1 away with no Henry, we beat them 3-1 at home with no Henry, we beat 3rd placed Newcastle with no Henry, the list goes on.

until last year we had never lost a domestic game with no Henry, amazing but true.

Subs not used: Bergkamp, Jeffers, Stepanovs, Wright
