Apparently Abramovich offered 12 million euros for Bojinov. He will be bought to Chelsea, but at first loaned to CSKA. Valeriy himself is quite reluctant to go to Russia, but the prospect of joining Chelsea in the near future took over him. As the news say, he gave his verbal agreement....

Anyway this news is all over russian news channels....

Bojinov is smart enough to link himself to Chelsea... lots of opportunities for him in the future.. as he maintains and upgrade himself

Nope, he said that he may go to play in Russia when is 35 years old :) So Chelsea and Mourinho must offer him that he'll stay in the club and wont be loaned

Bojinov doesnt need to be loaned out, he would walk into the Chelsea forward-line... easily!

12 millions? double the price, lecce is not so stupid, and why should they sell such a talent for peanuts when in the rest of the world (spain, england) players with half the talent are sold for 30 MLN?

Lecce themselves value him 15 million. That's the price written over in his contract if he wishes to go.... 12 is pretty close to that value, that's why he's departing soon.....

Why in hell would he go on loan in Russia? That's a damn insult on such a talent. Plus he can be a starter at chelsea right away.

Most thought the same about Mutu and Crespo. He is still young and changing leagues is often difficult even for the best of players.

If Bojinov decides to agree with a move to CSKA for a couple seasons he is officially an imbecile. Moreover, it would be idiotic to make a deal to play for a Russian team than expect to be guaranteed a spot at Chelsea. By the time he is ready to play for the Blues who knows who Abramovich will have bought up, and could turn into another Mutu or wasted talent. He needs to play at the highest level, not some joke of a league with CSKA. I hope for the sake of Valeri's career he rejects this greedy galvanistic Russian revolution.

From the sounds of it they just want him to take Mutu's place in the squad now so no biggie. He's better than Gudjohnsen and Kezman already so they'd either change formation a bit to play him or he'd be first reserve behind Drogba.

Not sure why he'd turn into another Mutu. Mutu could have made it at Chelsea but he was the architect of his own downfall.

Mutu, everyone was very glad when he moved to chelsea(chelsea's fans), and what did he do for the team? he didn't play well at all last season. he wasn't even that fast at all. some people would blame the management of the team for that(i am just a little bit agree with them), but mainly if he is real professional player then he would have shown a better quality football.
