apparently he didn't even use his own high school book reports but stole most of it from Sparknotes:

Reminds me of the RedLetterMedia YouTube reviews of the Star Wars prequals where they made constamt references to Lucas' collection of CliffsNotes.

How incredibly awkward. You litterally won Nobel prize for literature. Just chill and use your own words, however bland, plagiriazing will come to light with high stakes venue like that.

Ozzy, the academy just got what they asked for. Dylan is too big for the Nobel, he was always, and that is why they went for the Nobel. It is not about his merits as lyrical poet or not, but you just went after a guy that made his career and name as anti stabilishment to try to get some self promotion and make the Nobel looks cool and modernn (with a 70 years old dude or so). Dylan treated the Novel as it should. He didnt let them get themselves some promotion with his name and really, got something that had little importance on his life. You had plenty of lyrical writers to pick, they tried as PR scam, got kicked in the nuts.
