I can take taunts that Liverpool are, "boring", "trophyless" or whatever you like to throw at us. I acknowledge that we got what we deserved at Spurs, i.e. nothing. See, unlike you lot I can accept criticism. I can deal with it without resorting to personal insults. I don't need to remove my thread title to 'hide' it in another one to spare and minimise embarrassment and ridicule from those nasty ManU haters....... ah diddums.

You call this criticism???This just a pathetic attempt to provoke United fans and nothing more.Objective criticisms are always welcome here but when someone opens three or four threads just to have a go at a team,I will not accept it.Its not as if I have closed the threads(which I easily could have done)but rather merged them all together into one.

Thing is, we're improving in the league (more points already than last season), it was our first outing in the CL, and we did much better than Arsenal or ManUre did in their first seasons, qualifying from a difficult group ( unlike ManUre).

Yes you might be improving but still trail us by a couple of points.Just shows how much work there still is to be done.;)As for CL,Liverpool scored the lowest number of goals in the competition,won the least number of games and their travel to the quarter-final was lucky to say the least.So dont start shooting your mouth off just because you somehow managed to get to the quarters.

Secondly, we didn't waste £28m on a waste of skin Ali G lookalike , who after one season wants out of the ManUre slumhole....

With players like Smicer,Murphy and Berger,you could have done with an Ali G lookalike.;)

We had our manager absent for nearly 6 months of the season and still competed......

True your defence is very well organized and much better than ours.But at the end of the day even with those "clowns" that you mentioned,we won more games than Pool.

Your boys were firmly kept in our top pockets after our 5th (FIFTH) straight win over your sorry lot.

5th straight win and despite those FIVE consecutive victories,we still won the league while Liverpool were left clutching straws.

True...I have never had the oppurtunity to visit Old Trafford but if thats how you judge a fan,then 90% of fans all over XT cannot be called "GENUINE" fans of their respective clubs(not to mention the countless number of Pool supporters who have never been to Anfield;)).Its about how much you love the club and your passion for it.Dont think anybody in XT loves United more than me and I bet this is the feeling of each and every individual fan.

Players like Heskey and murphy won't win you anything of substance, whilst continuing to ignore Litmanen indicates the poverty of tactical courage in the scouse camp. You did very well to finish where you did. But hey, you beat us, so at least you had your cup final;)

I take credit for the "Taggart is deluded" comment, but if you check carefully, I think you'll find that someone else made those comments....... don't recall saying any of that......???
And it's not like I started 4 threads within hours of each other on the same subject is it ? I've probably started a TOTAL of 4 threads since Jan when I joined up here, 5 (FIVE) MONTHS AGO !!!

We also only lost ONCE to a good Barcelona team unlike you (Depo x2 anyone ???)

lol....what a tart...I notice you didn't bother answering me as you know I'm right;) I didn't see a rebutal of my statement that Liverpool are tactically impoverished. The fact of the matter is, despite the brilliant;) performance of the pool defence, midfield and attack....you're below us in the league, and went out before us in Europe. We never lost a match when we got past the group stage...bit different from the scousers record wasn't it? Anyway, bring on the banter, I'm all for it, just so long as you aren't going to whinge about getting back...la;)

One dimensional are we ? So how come Taggart STILL hasn't worked out how to beat us ? If as you say, we're so predictable then even a Sunday league manager should be able to latch on surely ? The tactical genius of Fabio Capello (courted by ManUre but rejected by him), couldn't work out how to beat us "one-tactic" wonders not to mention many other top European & domestic coaches.

Won't win anything of consequence with Murphy or Heskey ? Both England internationals. Murphy having scored the winning goal TWICE against your lot. (Is that maybe why you dislike him so much ? ) Fact (spelt F-A-C-T as I'm sure it's a new concept for you post 1990 fans) is that they in fact won a cup treble last season, playing the most games as was possible in going to each Cup final and winning. How many cup trebles have ManUre won ? (cue Mickey mouse comments etc etc - bet you didn't say that though when you won the CWC vs Barca ?)

We also did something which you lot can't seem to manage and that is to beat GERMAN sides, Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkusen etc.

We were 6 minutes from being in the CL final, when a lack of experience showed us up.

When you lose to Arsenal, you may just find that we're there to move into 2nd spot, so I wouldn't get too cocky about being above us yet.......

I am going to back up what FW said. Why take the piss out of liverpool when you have had a by far worser season. COME ON ARSENAL BEAT THEM EASILY THEN WE CAN FINISH 2ND WHATS IT GOING TO BE LIKE TO QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONS LEGUE??

Fred tell me this having if Fergi was managing in Siera A and spent 50 Million on players and won about as much as Bristol City do you think he would still be in the job???

True for a club like United,a trophyless season is a disappointment.Yet we arent talking about that here,are we.;)We are juding who's performance have been better this season and clearly there's only one winner and that's United.

And FW,I went to Manchester in 1988 when I was 6 years old and my first sight was a sea of United fans lining up to get into the stadium.Since then I only knew there was one club for me.:)

As Roma are overrated, success in the Serie A doesn't translate into them being a top club. If Capello is such tactical genius why hasn't he actually managed to achieve anything in Europe since he left the slowly ageing team, Milan, whose best years he had with a side Sacchi built and put together.

Murphy is rubbish, and the fact he scored a goal in your
*cup final* against us, doesn't change that. He's a work horse, without form and void. As for the plastic treble, its an insult to real treble achievements to continually harp on about it as if its a defining moment in English football. THE treble is one of those moments of romanticism in football, where everything slotted into place, and good football won out. Liverpool were quite clearly not the better team in the FA cup, were outclassed in long periods by Birmingham, and hung on by the skin of their teeth against those European giants Alves.

Glad to see you reverted back to sheep jokes, its quite a nice example of your one dimensionalism that seems to run parallel with the team you support. Oh, and there aren't any kangaroos in NZ. But I didn't expect you to know that.
