not when you're about though. at that time bergkamp couldn't take penalties to save his life and it's not as if he blasted it over the bar into row Z, it was saved by schmeichel. two late goals is not luck, it's determination and we deserved to win in europe that season even if we weren't the better team on the night. we were the best team in europe that season and i don't think anyone can dispute that.

are you blind or just plain ignorant? over that season we were the best team in europe. over the previous seasons we'd been unlucky not to get further than we did and if anybody deserved to win it it was us.

i wouldn't call liverpool's victory lucky at all. when you have a player of michael owen's ability againsst you, miss vital chances to bury the game and leave space for the likes of owen to expose your old and frail defense luck has nothing to do with it.
